August 24, 2026 — Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country kicks off California Wine Month on September 1 with the opening of the Temecula Valley Barrel Art Trail, a new permanent regional art exhibit launched by Visit Temecula Valley and the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association. Nearly two dozen wineries and local businesses commissioned 42 artists to turn retired wine barrels into one-of-a-kind works of art, now on display at a variety of locations throughout the valley. “Temecula Valley is well-known for its award-winning wineries, breathtaking landscapes, and welcoming hospitality,” said Annette Brown, Interim CEO of Visit Temecula Valley. “The Barrel Art Trail adds an exciting new dimension to the visitor experience by celebrating the incredible talent of our local artists while encouraging guests to explore our beautiful destination.”
