August 24, 2026 (Glenwood, MN) — Rolling Forks Vineyards is welcoming visitors to the 2026 fall harvest season with a lineup of wine experiences, vineyard activities, family-friendly attractions and special events that showcase the agricultural roots and cold-climate winemaking traditions of west-central Minnesota.
Located in Pope County overlooking Lake Minnewaska, Rolling Forks Vineyards invites guests to experience one of the most exciting times of year at a Minnesota vineyard. From grapes coming in from the fields, to wine fermenting in the cellar, fall offers visitors a behind-the-scenes look at how Minnesota-grown grapes become wine.
2026 Fall Harvest Highlights
- MN WINE DAY – Join Rolling Forks Vineyards and many other wineries around the state, in celebrating Minnesota’s growing wine industry with a special day dedicated to Minnesota-grown grapes, locally made wines and the people who make the industry possible. Guests can enjoy wine, food, seasonal activities and a chance to raise a glass to Minnesota wine. August 29th at participating wineries
- “Through the Vintages” Guided Tastings: Explore the differences between vintages of our estate-grown Marquette and discover how growing conditions, harvest timing and winemaking techniques influence the finished wine. September 26th
- 7th Annual Fall Wine Festival: Rolling Forks Vineyards’ annual fall celebration brings together Minnesota wine, local vendors, live music, food and the community for a day centered around harvest and the changing season. September 26th
- 11-Acre Minnesota-Themed Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch: Families can enjoy an autumn adventure with a large Minnesota-themed corn maze, pumpkin patch and seasonal activities for visitors of all ages. MN Wine Day through Halloween
- Fall Vineyard & Tasting Room Visits: Guests can enjoy estate-grown wines while taking in the fall landscape and views of the surrounding Glacial Ridge region and Lake Minnewaska.
“Harvest is one of our favorite times of year because there is so much happening both in the vineyard and in the winery,” said Melanie Cihlar, co-owner of Rolling Forks Vineyards. “It’s also a great opportunity for people to see that Minnesota wine is about much more than simply enjoying a glass. There is an incredible amount of agriculture, science, craftsmanship and hard work behind every bottle.”
Rolling Forks Vineyards was founded with a focus on growing grapes suited to Minnesota’s challenging climate. Today, the family-owned vineyard produces wines from cold-hardy grape varieties grown in Pope County, Minnesota, and continues to develop its role as an agricultural, tourism and community destination in west-central Minnesota.
The fall season also provides an opportunity for visitors to experience the vineyard at its most active — when the landscape changes, grapes are harvested and the next generation of Minnesota wine begins taking shape in the cellar.
“We want people to come out and experience the vineyard, not just visit a tasting room,” Cihlar added. “Whether you’re a longtime Minnesota wine enthusiast, someone discovering cold-climate wines for the first time, or a family looking for a fun fall outing, there is something here for you.”
Rolling Forks Vineyards is located along the Glacial Ridge Scenic Byway near Glenwood, Minnesota, overlooking Lake Minnewaska. The vineyard’s fall season runs through October, with special events, agritourism activities and seasonal offerings throughout the season.
