Unique festival will bring an evening of Israeli wine, winemakers and culture to Jerusalem’s Israel Aquarium
August 18, 2026 (Atlanta, GA) — More than 50 wineries and importers will gather at the Israel Aquarium in Jerusalem on Thursday, Sept. 3, for the Jerusalem Wine Festival, offering wine lovers the chance to sample more than 200 wines, meet the people behind them and experience Israel’s diverse wine culture in an unexpected setting.
“There’s something special about not only discovering Israel through its wine, but meeting the people behind it, tasting what they’ve created and experiencing it in a setting you won’t find anywhere else,” said Lorin Maugery, Consul Director for the Israel Ministry of Tourism, United States Southern Region. “A wine festival inside an aquarium? That’s Jerusalem.”
The festival, beginning at 6 p.m., will feature free tastings from more than 50 boutique wineries and special importers, with winemakers on hand to share the stories behind their wines and the processes that go into making them.
Beyond the wine, the evening will feature DJs and music, an Israeli distillery stand, breweries, an exhibition and other surprises. Festivalgoers will also be able to explore the Israel Aquarium’s exhibits and enjoy panoramic views from its spacious balcony.
Each admission ticket includes a wine purchase credit, giving guests the opportunity to take home a favorite bottle from the festival. Guests will also receive a crystal wine glass as a gift.
Participating wineries, importers and producers include Binyamina Winery, Ella Valley Winery, Psagot Winery, Shilo Winery, Tzuba Winery, Ramat Naftali Winery, Ramot Menashe Winery, Shor Winery, Schorer Winery, Lachish Wines, Kamisa Winery, Malbec Company, Wine Path, Ackerman Import and others.
Free private parking will be available at the Israel Aquarium.
