Influencers, tastemakers and industry leaders gathered for an afternoon of crafting, fashion, culinary excellence and great wine.
August 13, 2026 (Napa, CA) — On August 11, the Napa Valley Wine Train, a luxury rail travel experience, welcomed influencers, tastemakers and leaders from the worlds of fashion, technology, design, philanthropy, sports and business for an exclusive collaboration with acclaimed fashion brand Veronica Beard and modern correspondence app HiNOTE.

Hosted by sisters Veronica Swanson Beard, co-founder of Veronica Beard, and Alexis Swanson Traina, founder of HiNOTE, the invitation-only experience titled, All Aboard, Darling, celebrated fashion, craftsmanship and the spirit of wine country aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train. Guests enjoyed a specially curated afternoon featuring a hands-on embroidery masterclass, led by San Francisco’s favorite surrealist artist — and founder of ARTifact — Lauren Sharp. Crafting included personalized Veronica Beard denim shirts with custom monograms before visiting a premium denim pop-up onboard to complete their look with a pair of Veronica Beard jeans.
Among the highly impressive yet intimate group of voyagers, guests included Olympic Gold Medalist Kristi Yamaguchi, San Francisco tastemaker Alexis Pence, Award-Winning Chef Kathy Fang, and Hilary Newsom, President of PlumpJack Group and Chair and Founder of PlumpJack Foundation.
Throughout the journey, attendees experienced Napa Valley Wine Train’s signature hospitality with an elevated afternoon tea-inspired menu prepared by the train’s culinary team, paired with wines from the PlumpJack Collection of Wineries as the train traveled through the scenic Napa Valley.
“This collaboration perfectly captured what makes the Napa Valley Wine Train unlike any other destination,” said Nathan Davis, General Manager of Napa Valley Wine Train. “Bringing together world-class hospitality, exceptional culinary experiences, celebrated brands and the beauty of Napa Valley to create unforgettable moments for our guests. We were honored to partner with Veronica Beard and HiNOTE on an experience that celebrated creativity, connection and the spirit of wine country.”
“Hosting with HiNOTE and Napa Valley Wine Train alongside some of our favorite friends of the brand was a truly unforgettable experience,” said Veronica Swanson Beard, co-founder of Veronica Beard. “We loved bringing everyone together for an afternoon of crafting and creativity in such an incredible setting.”
“Veronica and I loved the idea of spending an afternoon winding through the Napa Valley in a beautiful vintage Pullman car—crafting, sipping and enjoying the company of old and new friends. In a busy world, what a rare and wonderful gift,” said Alexis Swanson Traina, founder of HiNOTE.
The event further reinforced the Napa Valley Wine Train’s reputation as one of the region’s premier destinations for elevated lifestyle experiences, where acclaimed culinary offerings, exceptional wines and unique partnerships come together to create unforgettable moments beyond the traditional wine country visit.
