August 10, 2026 — Wildfires across Eastern Washington, including Spokane County, White Swan, and surrounding Yakama Nation communities, have forced roughly 67,000 people from their homes, destroyed more than 700 structures, and created an urgent need for food, water, and basic supplies.
Tinte Cellars and co-owner and artist Teresa Spellman Gamble are offering ways for the public to support wildfire relief efforts through Northwest Harvest, Washington State’s leading hunger relief agency.
Supporting hunger relief is already part of Tinte Cellars’ ongoing community mission: the winery donates 5% of wine sales year-round, split evenly among four nonprofit partners, including Northwest Harvest. This quarter, Northwest Harvest is the featured partner, with its mission highlighted across menus and collateral at Tinte’s tasting rooms.
In response to the crisis, Tinte is expanding its efforts to help meet the immediate need for food and basic supplies. Through September 30, guests at Tinte Cellars’ Woodinville and Seattle Georgetown tasting rooms can make direct donations and contribute non-perishable food items. The winery is also sharing Northwest Harvest’s Amazon Wish List for those who prefer to send needed items from home.
Abstract artist Teresa Spellman Gamble is also donating 50% of every painting sold through August 31 to Northwest Harvest’s wildfire relief efforts. The donations include artwork from her current solo exhibition, When Irish Eyes Remember, on view at Tinte Cellars Georgetown through September 30. The remaining 50% of proceeds from each painting sold will continue supporting three other nonprofit partners: Mary’s Place, Seattle Children’s and Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic.
“Together, we can bring relief, hope, and healing,” said Spellman Gamble.
Since beginning to sell her artwork in August 2024, Spellman Gamble has donated more than $13,500 through art sales, reflecting the same spirit behind Tinte Cellars’ “Great Wine for the Greater Good” mission, which has separately contributed more than $1.64 million to 270+ nonprofit organizations since it was founded in 2018.
