Rare Screaming Eagle, The French Laundry, Promontory, Grand Cru Burgundies and Luxury Napa Experiences Headline Live Auction

August 5, 2026 (St. Helena, CA) — Napa Valley’s wine community will once again pair extraordinary hospitality with global philanthropy when Vines for Vision returns to V. Sattui Winery on Thursday, Aug. 13, raising funds to expand access to sight-saving medical care in Zambia.

Benefiting Eye Surgeons International, the annual gala will feature Michelin-starred cuisine and exceptional Napa Valley wines, plus Live and Silent Auctionsoffering collectors and wine enthusiasts the opportunity to bid on rare wines and exclusive experiences.

This year’s proceeds will support the construction of a teaching hospital and eye clinic in Zambia, providing life-changing treatment while training future ophthalmologists, nurses and technicians to create sustainable eye care throughout the region.

“From disaster relief to education, healthcare and community services, Napa Valley has always demonstrated that philanthropy is part of its identity,” said Cara Davies, Chair of the Vines for Vision Gala. “This year’s auction is truly extraordinary, and every winning bid will help restore the gift of sight to people who otherwise would have little or no access to eye care.”

About V. Sattui Winery
V. Sattui is the story of a true American Dream. Vittorio Sattui immigrated to the United States from Genoa, Italy in 1882 and opened his San Francisco winery three years later. The Sattuis ran a thriving business for 35 years, before Prohibition forced them to shut their doors. In 1975, Vittorio’s great-grandson Dario Sattui re-established the family business in the Napa Valley, with the dream of creating a “Napa D’Italia,” a place to experience a taste of the good life. It was the 46th winery to open in the Napa Valley since Prohibition, and today it boasts impressive rustic Italianate architecture, lush hidden gardens, expansive picnicking grounds, beautiful vineyards, a stone winery and tower, barrel room, museum, salumeria, gelateria, multiple event spaces, and a stunning newly renovated Mercato Del Gusto (Taste of the Market) complete with an artisan deli and a curated selection of over 200 cheeses.
