Method Oregon Sets 2027 Dates Following Sold-Out Three-Day Celebration of Oregon Sparkling Wine

Expanded educational programming and 55 founding wineries highlighted the growing momentum of Oregon’s traditional method sparkling wine movement

August 4, 2026 (Oregon)Method Oregon, the nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing Oregon traditional method sparkling wine, announced its annual Grand Tasting Weekend will return July 23-25, 2027, following a sold-out three-day celebration that highlighted the continued growth of Oregon’s traditional method sparkling wine industry.

The inaugural expanded 2026 weekend brought together 55 member wineries and 600 ticketed attendees across three days of events. All-Access Passes sold out one month before the event, while Grand Tasting tickets sold out more than two weeks in advance.

There was something for everyone: Sparkling School, an interactive afternoon of seminars and production tours that provided a detailed look into the traditional method process; the Bubbles Block Party, a festive evening with food trucks, a DJ, and select wineries pouring rare library bottles; the Grand Tasting, which offered the unique opportunity to taste wines from 50+ top producers side by side; and more than two dozen Choose Your Own Adventure events at member wineries’ own vineyards and tasting rooms, which allowed attendees to follow their curiosity and explore wine country at their own pace.

The Method Oregon organization currently represents a diverse coalition of 55 traditional method winemakers across the state, from single-person operations to established multinational players. In the collaborative spirit that defines the Oregon wine community, the Method Oregon founders have united behind one of the world’s most rigorous standards for sparkling wine production.

Consumers will begin seeing the Method Oregon mark on bottles, which will help them find at a glance wines that meet the standards for exceptional quality, deep care for the land, and strong community.

“We knew Oregon traditional method sparkling wine was building momentum, but seeing the enthusiasm throughout the inaugural three-day weekend exceeded our expectations,” said Jeanne Feldkamp, founding board member of Method Oregon and co-owner and co-winemaker of Corollary Wines. “From sold-out events to the energy of our guests and the passion of our producers, it was incredibly rewarding to see so many people come together to celebrate Oregon sparkling wine.”

Ray Isle, Executive Wine Editor of Food & Wine, moderated the weekend’s educational panel featuring leaders from Oregon’s sparkling wine industry. Journalists from across the U.S. and beyond attended the weekend alongside consumers, trade professionals, and wine educators. Organizers noted increased participation in the educational programming, with consumers joining media members to learn more about the production techniques that distinguish traditional method sparkling wine.

“Method Oregon – both the organization and the event – is the result of an impressive grassroots effort to create a quality standard for traditional method Oregon sparkling wine. And it was a thrill to see the event sell out in its second year – proof both that people are excited about Oregon sparkling and that wineries here are working at the highest level of quality,” said Ray Isle, executive wine editor of Food & Wine.

Participating wineries reported strong bottle sales during the Grand Tasting and increased tasting room reservations following the weekend.

Method Oregon will continue to host experiences throughout the year, including pop-up tastings, winemaker dinners, collaborative events, educational workshops and more. Those who missed this year’s sold-out weekend can continue exploring Oregon traditional method sparkling wine through the new Method Oregon Trail Map, which highlights participating producers and tasting experiences across the state.

Method Oregon is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) organization founded by Oregon sparkling winemakers to elevate the category through education, collaboration and consumer awareness.
