Bespoke Paso Robles Winery Writes New Chapter for Legacy Estate Vineyard
July 30, 2026 (Paso Robles, CA) — TRUSS Wines today introduced its first-ever wines from its legacy estate vineyard in the heart of the Paso Robles Willow Creek District. These four Rhône-style reds reflect the rare character of their terroir while showcasing a proprietary winemaking style that TRUSS calls “beauty in structure.”

“We are proud to write a new chapter for this land and its wines,” said Owner-Winemaker Kyle Jury. “The roots of our vineyard extend back nearly 25 years in Paso Robles, and our goal is to blend heritage and stewardship with reinvention and originality.”
The inaugural estate wines, all from the 2024 vintage, are: Sketch 01 (Syrah $75), Sketch 02 (Grenache $75), Raw Materials (Rhône Blend $75) and Beyond Reason (Ultra-Limited Syrah $150). They are now available online at TRUSSWines.com and at the new winery tasting room located along uncrowded Arbor Road in westside Paso Robles.
Beauty in Structure
TRUSS wines are crafted with a shared stylistic goal: depth, freshness and balance. These qualities originate from special terroirs and are brought to life by mindful farming and winemaking. Flavor, phenolics and acidity are harmonized to deliver a signature sense of structure.

TRUSS’s house winemaking style reflects the name of the winery itself, which originates from Jury’s longtime interest in architecture. A “truss” is an architectural framework that uses triangular points to support a common load, much in the way that a wine’s natural elements can be brought into symmetry and structure.
“We’re rigorous in our vineyard and cellar practices, but we also leave room for the art of it all, too,” Jury said. “This comes from being open and intuitive, and using a gentle hand to nudge the wine toward its most harmonious and expressive outcome. Working with our own estate fruit allows us to move deeper in this direction.”
A Story of Stewardship
The 26-acre TRUSS estate was originally planted in 2002 by former NFL star and winemaker Terry Hoage. Hoage’s TH Estate Winery was one of the early pioneers of the modern Rhône variety movement in Paso Robles, earning some of the region’s highest critical accolades. After retiring from the industry, Hoage and his wife Jennifer entrusted the estate to Jury and his partners, confident that they were the best choice to steward the legacy of the property.
The TRUSS label was established in 2022 by Jury and his wife Brittany, with an initial focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Now, with the 2024 Rhône variety releases and the opening of its new tasting room, TRUSS moves into its next chapter built on estate-grown wines and classic unhurried California hospitality.
