New Label Elevates Brand Recognition for Demand-Driven Wines from Paso Robles
July 21, 2026 (Paso Robles, CA) — Opolo Vineyards today introduced a fresh new look for its bestselling “Summit Creek” wines from Paso Robles, enhancing the identity and shelf presence of the winery’s leading wholesale line.
“The new label is designed to heighten the shelf presence of our Summit Creek wines and to pave the way for continued growth and brand recognition,” said Director of Marketing Ricki Quinn. “It creates added visual separation from our classic Opolo estate offerings, ensuring that the customer is clear when they’re reaching for their favorite Summit Creek wine.”
Demand-Driven Growth
The Summit Creek portfolio has become one of the strongest-performing Paso Robles luxury wine collections in the United States, as supported by recent IRI / NielsenIQ market data.
Opolo Summit Creek Zinfandel ranks as the #1 luxury Paso Robles Zinfandel nationwide, with Opolo Mountain Zinfandel securing the #2 position directly behind it—further reinforcing Opolo’s leadership in the category. The Summit Creek Merlot ranks as the top luxury Paso Robles Merlot nationwide, while the new Summit Creek Sauvignon Blanc is also rising fast. As a result, Opolo was recently highlighted as a top market performer at the 2026 Unified Wine & Grape Symposium.

The New Look
Opolo’s Summit Creek wines are crafted to capture the quality and character of Paso Robles. The wines are named for the creek that winds through the winery’s original estate vineyard in the westside Willow Creek District. The wines routinely earn high ratings as perennial “best buys” from Paso Robles. The Summit Creek line includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and a Red Blend.
These wines are largely or wholly sourced from estate-grown Paso Robles grapes. “We combine the freshness and structure provided by our westside Willow Creek District estates with the round, delicious flavors from our warmer Estrella District vineyards,” said Winemaker James Schreiner. “This has proven to be a magic combination and a winning style that delivers a ton of value, and consumers are loving it.”
The new Summit Creek label features a stylized metallic ink depiction of the creek, with a die cut that also suggests the mountainous terrain of the surrounding vineyard. The words “Paso Robles” are boldly rendered to reinforce the regional pride and sense of place behind the wines. These and other flourishes create an elegant package that stands out from the crowd.
