July 13, 2026 — Quality Brands announced today that we officially closed the transaction with RNDC, marking a major milestone in the company’s expansion and establishing Quality Brands as a growing total beverage distributor across the Plains States region, including Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
The transaction positions Quality Brands to expand its wine and spirits capabilities while building on the company’s longstanding reputation for execution, customer service, operational excellence, and supplier partnership.
As part of the transition, Quality Brands has built its organization with a strong focus on continuity, capability, and market expertise. The company estimates that approximately 160 employees from RNDC have accepted positions with Quality Brands, including the retention of the full sales organization across the Plains States.
By maintaining the sales force, Quality Brands preserves deep market knowledge, established customer relationships, and a team with a demonstrated track record of growing brands and delivering results for supplier partners across the region. The transition also provides continuity for customers who have built trusted relationships with these teams over time.
“This is an exciting moment for Quality Brands and for the future of beverage distribution across the Plains States,” said Tony Gillick, owner of Quality Brands Distribution. “As a family-owned business, we believe great partnerships and great people create long-term success. As we enter this next chapter, we do so with an exceptional team, strong supplier relationships, and confidence in our ability to continue delivering results in the market. We are grateful to the supplier partners who have committed to us and excited to welcome new partners as we showcase the capabilities of our growing Wine & Spirits business.”
Quality Brands also announced that Dave Young has accepted the role of President of Quality Brands Wine & Spirits, where he will lead the division through future growth initiatives across the Plains States. Young brings extensive experience across beverage distribution, commercial strategy, supplier development, and sales leadership. He is recognized for building high-performing teams, driving disciplined execution, and creating long-term growth through strong partnerships and operational excellence.
In addition, Eric Malone has agreed to joining Quality Brands as Vice President of Sales. Malone brings a proven track record of success and has established strong relationships across customers, suppliers, and the beverage industry. His experience leading teams, executing in the market, and building growth-oriented sales teams will support Quality Brands’ continued expansion across the Plains States.
Young and Malone’s combined leadership brings a balance of strategic vision, operational excellence, commercial execution, and supplier partnership that positions the business for long-term growth.
With closing approaching, Quality Brands said its focus remains on executing a seamless transition, supporting employees and customers, and building long-term value for supplier partners across the Plains States.
