Aged with French acacia wood, the limited-release 2025 Sauvignon Blanc joins Fog & Light’s Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon, bringing bright, coastal flavors to a growing lineup

June 10, 2026 (Monterey, CA) — Scheid Family Wines is kicking off summer with the launch of Fog & Light 2025 Central Coast Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, a limited-release white wine aged with French acacia wood that has earned 91 points from The Tasting Panel. The new Sauvignon Blanc joins Fog & Light’s Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon, expanding the brand into a two-wine portfolio rooted in California’s Central Coast.
“For this Sauvignon Blanc, French acacia wood is a unique winemaking element that helps shape the wine’s character,” said Vincent Catalaa, Director of Winemaking at Scheid Family Wines. “It adds floral lift, texture and mid-palate weight while preserving the varietal’s bright citrus and tropical fruit profile. The result is a Sauvignon Blanc that feels fresh and expressive, with added depth, balance and sophistication.”
Medium-bodied with soft, balanced acidity, Fog & Light Sauvignon Blanc offers aromas of pineapple, white flower, citrus and passion fruit, with fresh minerality, roasted almond notes and a hint of fresh jalapeño on the palate.
“Fog & Light was created to bring polished, expressive, terroir-driven wines to the shelf in a way that feels fresh and approachable,” said Ryan Sigala, Brand Manager at Scheid Family Wines. “This Sauvignon Blanc is bright, distinctive and really exciting to taste, offering a new take on Sauvignon Blanc that we think will invite more people into the brand and into the category.”
Produced using 100% renewable wind energy, Fog & Light Sauvignon Blanc reinforces Scheid Family Wines’ long-standing commitment to sustainability. The wine’s premium packaging also highlights consumer-friendly callouts, including vegan friendly and gluten free, meeting today’s shoppers with clear, relevant cues on shelf.
Fog & Light 2025 Central Coast Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is available as a limited release at select retailers and on-premise accounts nationwide.
