The four-day celebration of wine, food, and harvest season invites Bay Area visitors to explore Livermore Valley through exclusive tastings, vineyard experiences, and unforgettable events.

June 4, 2026 (Livermore, CA) — Tickets are now on sale for TASTE: The Livermore Valley Wine Experience, returning October 15-18, 2026 with harvest-season celebrations, exclusive tastings and immersive wine country experiences throughout Livermore Valley. Located less than an hour from San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose, TASTE invites guests to spend a fall weekend or day exploring one of California’s oldest wine regions through exclusive winery experiences, vineyard adventures, curated food pairings and unforgettable celebrations.
From scenic vineyard hikes and harvest festivities to intimate tastings with winemakers and themed events such as Barrels and Bootleggers: A Speakeasy Wine Affair and Cattle, Cabernet & Country, TASTE offers experiences for wine lovers, food enthusiasts and weekend travelers alike. Additional events will be announced throughout the summer. Tickets are available at www.lvwine.org/event/14622/taste-the-livermore-valley-wine-experience.
The weekend kicks off Thursday evening with Taste Our Terroir, Livermore Valley’s signature food and wine competition, where local wineries and restaurants compete to create the region’s most exceptional pairings. A perennial sellout, the event will take place this year at the Concannon Vineyard Event Center, bringing together 20 winery and restaurant teams for an evening of tasting, friendly competition and celebration.
Known for its welcoming wineries, award-winning wines and direct access to winemakers, Livermore Valley offers visitors a more intimate wine country experience during one of the most exciting times of year: harvest season.
“We’re excited to welcome guests from throughout the Bay Area to experience Livermore Valley during harvest season, when the vineyards are buzzing with activity and the energy throughout wine country is unmatched,” said Heather McGrail, Chair of TASTE and President of McGrail Vineyards and Winery. “Whether you’re planning a day trip or a long weekend, TASTE offers a unique opportunity to meet our winemakers, explore our vineyards and enjoy unforgettable food and wine experiences.”
