About Montalbera
Montalbera is a historic family-owned estate located in the heart of Monferrato, cultivating a wide range of varieties. They are particularly known for their work in elevating indigenous grapes such as Ruchè and Grignolino, alongside high-quality Barbera, with a strong emphasis on experimentation and terroir expression. Rigor and planning. Interpretation and terroir. These are the foundations of the Montalbera production philosophy. An idea that puts at the center the fruit forward wine, enhancing the great peculiarities of the varietals, interpreting their characteristics and declining them in different ways, from stainless steel to oak, from over-ripening to withering, in order to best enhance the personality of each grape variety.
