Class Is in Session: The Hue Society Reimagines Wine Education with the 2026 Wine & Culture Fest “Summer School”

The 8th Annual Festival takes place at Philadelphia’s Historic Bok Building

May 13, 2026 (Philadelphia, PA)The Hue Society is proud to announce the 2026 return of the Wine & Culture Fest (WCF), the premier global wine festival dedicated to consumer education, brand awareness, and cultural experiences through the Black lens. Scheduled for July 25, 2026, this year’s festival, themed “Summer School,” will transform Philadelphia’s historic Bok Building into a living classroom designed for those who seek context over spectacle.

Founded by Tahiirah Habibi, the Wine & Culture Fest was born from a need for economic inclusion and a safe space where Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities can explore the world of wine without the pressure to assimilate. Now in its eighth year, the festival continues to break barriers by uniting industry mavens, wine enthusiasts, and cultural icons for a day of immersive learning and celebration.

“Wine and food are our entry points, but culture and legacy are the ultimate lessons,” says Habibi. “With ‘Summer School,’ we are inviting our community to study the craft, celebrate our heritage, and carry that knowledge forward in a space that was built specifically for us.”

2026 Festival Highlights Include:

  • A Living Campus: For the first time, each floor of the historic Bok Building will serve a unique purpose, guiding guests through a curated journey of tastings, seminars, and storytelling.
  • Expert-Led Seminars: Interactive sessions featuring industry pioneers covering everything from viticulture to business ownership.
