May 13, 2026 (Lake County, CA) — Shannon Family of Wines is pleased to announce the appointment of Marty Young as Director of Chains – West. In this role, Marty will report to Richard Maloney and lead strategic retail chain development across key Western markets.
Marty brings extensive experience in national and regional chain account management, with a strong track record of driving growth across multiple retail channels. For the past eight years, he led the national strategic retail chain business for Purple Brands Wines and Spirits, where he oversaw distribution and commercialization of the Raeburn wine portfolio across Food, Liquor, Club, Drug, and Convenience channels.
Prior to his time at Purple Brands, Marty led Bacardi USA’s West region, where he drove multi-channel growth, including key accounts such as Safeway and Total Wine & More.

Marty is based in Lafayette, California, located approximately two hours from Shannon Family of Wines’ Lake County winery.
