Flâneur Wines Announces 2026 Spring Releases Featuring New Aligoté and Pinot Meunier, from Award-Winning La Belle Promenade Vineyard

May 13, 2026 (Carlton, OR) — Flâneur Wines announces the addition of two new releases to its 2026 Spring Release, introducing its Aligoté and Pinot Meunier. Sourced from La Belle Promenade Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, these limited releases reflect the winery’s commitment to curiosity, craftsmanship, and pushing beyond traditional varietal boundaries in the Willamette Valley. La Belle Promenade Vineyard was recently named a top vineyard for white wine in the 1976 Redo blind tasting by 12 sommeliers in New York City.

These new additions build on the momentum of Flâneur’s spring portfolio, further showcasing the diversity of its estate vineyards and the team’s thoughtful, small-lot approach to winemaking. Guests are invited to experience these wines firsthand through curated tastings at Flâneur’s restored Grain Elevator Tasting Room in Carlton, Oregon, or at La Belle Promenade Vineyard, where immersive vineyard experiences offer a deeper connection to the source.

“In 2024, the fourth vintage from these vines, our Aligoté started showing a new level of maturity, taking longer to accumulate sugar and ultimately becoming the last pick of the growing season,” said Anthony Sereni, head winemaker at Flâneur Wines. “The vines are digging their roots deeper into the soil, and the wines are gaining more complexity and texture with each vintage.”

Sereni said the 2024 Pinot Meunier was crafted as “a celebration of aromatics and fun,” using carbonic maceration and foot stomping to create bright fruit, floral notes and structure. “We are so proud of our bubbles program, and it is a lot of fun to showcase this cultivar both in the more traditional bubbles format, and as a still wine,” he said.

New Additions to Flâneur’s 2026 Spring Releases

2024 La Belle Promenade Aligoté · Chehalem Mountains AVA

From a one-acre planting at La Belle Promenade, their Aligoté offers a vivid expression of a storied yet under-sung grape. Barrel fermented and crafted with the same care as Flâneur’s Chardonnay program, it balances freshness and texture with precision.

Vibrant and expressive, the 2024 Aligoté opens with layered aromatics of citrus peel, green apple, white blossom, and crushed stone. Bright acidity is complemented by subtle texture and depth from neutral barrel fermentation, lending both tension and breadth. Energetic and nuanced, this lively wine shines at the table. $45

2024 La Belle Promenade Pinot Meunier · Chehalem Mountains AVA

Traditionally known as a blending grape in Champagne, here it takes center stage as a fresh, playful red. Crafted using 100% whole cluster fermentation with a combination of carbonic and traditional techniques, the wine is designed for early enjoyment, emphasizing vibrancy and approachability.

Juicy and aromatic, the wine opens with notes of fresh cranberry, cherry, anise, rose petal, and dried autumn leaves. The palate mirrors the aromatics with clarity and precision, unfolding in a medium-bodied frame with silky tannins and bright, mouthwatering acidity. The 2024 vintage shows a subtle richness while maintaining a lively, energetic character. $45

About Flâneur Wines
A flâneur is, quite simply, a leisurely wanderer, a worldly explorer, a connoisseur of life. The word, hailing from 19th-century France, captures the idea that the mind functions best at a slow pace, and that curiosity can uncover a life of significance. This was the life that Founder, Marty Doerschlag lived between selling his first company and starting Flâneur Wines in 2013.

Flâneur Wines focuses primarily on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sparkling wines as well as some smaller bottlings of Pinot Meunier, Grüner Veltliner, Aligoté and Gamay from their two contrasting estate vineyards, La Belle Promenade Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains AVA and Flânerie Vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge AVA. Both of which are organically dry farmed, in house. Their wines are unfined, unfiltered, native yeast fermented with a diverse use of barrels and a wide range of whole-cluster inclusion. In 2026, Flâneur’s 2021 Bon Vivant La Belle Promenade Chardonnay was named the number one Chardonnay in the U.S. and overall category winner in the 1976 Redo Competition in New York City.

Flâneur’s winery and hospitality space is located downtown Carlton in the thoughtfully restored Carlton Grain Elevator. In the summer months, guests are welcome to experience the unhurried life of the flaneur vineyard-side for a tasting in a rustic Blue Barn atop their La Belle Promenade Vineyard. Each space sets the scene for all that Flâneur embodies: a beautiful environment to enjoy exciting wines, paired with an unforgettable experience that slowly unfolds – just like each bottle of their wine.
