Fundraiser in Sonoma County Elevates BIPOC Women in Food & Hospitality Industries

Cookout at the Vineyard tickets are almost sold out!

May 12, 2026 Cookout at the Vineyard (CATV) is a curated safe space in Sonoma County, CA’s Wine Country centering BIPOC chefs, winemakers, and creatives, while uplifting the unifying power of music, community, and culinary heritage. A short drive from the Bay Area and the gorgeous California coast.

CATV is entering “The Golden Hour” of Ticket sales. Only a small window of time is left to secure your Cookout at the Vineyard 2026 experience (June 11–13, 2026). With host hotels reaching capacity and summer itineraries being finalized, the clock is ticking. This is the moment to lock in the full cultural immersion of the summer before the sun sets on availability.

CATV co-founders, Tahlia Suggs and Courtney Guntz-Summers, will be available for live and pre-recorded interviews, as well as written storytelling showcasing the evolution of the cookout and CATV’s impact on the hospitality community.

“We aren’t just hosting a party; we are leveraging tourism as a foundation to preserve cultural traditions in food and beverage spaces.” — Tahlia Suggs

This event addresses the lack of food and wine festivals that genuinely showcase BIPOC representation and allied support. CATV allows guests to immerse themselves in destinations like Sonoma County where they may not always feel comfortable, driving tangible economic benefits to local restaurants and lodging. Furthermore, it serves as a vital fundraiser for The Veraison Project (TVP), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking down barriers for underrepresented beverage professionals through mentorship and education.

CATV and The Veraison Project celebrated a 2025 milestone

The Veraison Project (TVP), was named Wine Enthusiast’s 2025 Charity Partner, a testament to our impact in breaking down barriers for underrepresented beverage professionals. In just three years, CATV has raised over $50,000 for industry scholarships, mentorships, and apprenticeships.

CATV is a three-day extravaganza with top chefs and entertainment in multiple locations throughout the Sonoma County!
