May 11, 2026 (Los Angeles, CA) — Today, AG announces a partnership with Napa Valley’s historic Stony Hill Vineyard. Launching this summer, the collaboration brings together fashion, wine, and culture through a shared commitment to craftsmanship and tradition. Inspired by California wine culture, the partnership includes a co-branded capsule collection with a campaign shot on the vineyard’s storied grounds.
The collection begins with a distinctly Californian point of view. “I always start with something deeply rooted in California culture and lifestyle,” says Charles Sands, Creative Director at AG. “The idea of Napa Valley came naturally, the parallels between wine and denim felt effortless. Both are an expression of a place and something that refines as it ages.”
That shared philosophy extends to Stony Hill’s approach to winemaking. “I’ve worn AG Jeans for years and knew it as a company that prioritized quality and timelessness,” says Carlton McCoy, CEO and managing partner of Lawrence Wine Estates. “These values are pillars to our work as well.”
Founded in the 1940s on the slopes of Spring Mountain, Stony Hill Vineyard has long been recognized for its restrained, terroir-driven wines and commitment to minimal intervention. The estate’s legacy of craftsmanship and evolution made it a natural partner for AG. “They are rooted in California history but have a modern approach,” Sands notes. “The property feels timeless and modern at the same time – a principle we always keep front of mind at AG.”
The AG x Stony Hill capsule reflects a meticulous approach to materiality and storytelling. Centered around a premium Japanese selvedge denim program, the collection features an aged weft inspired by the tones of vineyard soil, designed to fade and evolve over time.
Wine-hued threads subtly reference Stony Hill’s red varietals, while a cork back patch replaces traditional leather, an intentional nod to winemaking rituals. “We wanted pieces that, like wine, get better with age,” Sands adds.
More broadly, the collaboration underscores a shared cultural narrative. “All human crafts have always been connected,” McCoy says. “Fashion, art, food, and wine are ways we honor tradition through the lens of our time. While trends come and go, they connect us through a shared purpose.”
This perspective aligns with AG’s continued evolution as a lifestyle brand. “We are focused on speaking to our customers’ lives, confident, timeless, and sophisticated,” Sands explains. “A weekend retreat to Napa Valley and Stony Hill fits naturally into that world, always in a pair of jeans.”
AG and Stony Hill align through a shared commitment to craft and storytelling, an authentic reflection of California’s enduring creative spirit. The collection is available May 7, 2026 and prices range from $68 – $425.

About Stony Hill
Founded in 1951 as the first post-Prohibition winery in Napa Valley, Stony Hill built its reputation quietly over decades through word of mouth. The wines became known for their mineral-driven intensity and remarkable aging potential, with older vintages now highly sought after by collectors and leading sommeliers. Today, Stony Hill remains an “insiders’ winery”—a hidden cultural treasure of Napa Valley. Winemaker Reid Griggs joined Stony Hill in 2023, bringing experience from some of the world’s most respected estates, including Harlan Estate, MacDonald Vineyards, Dalla Valle, Ridge, and Domaine Pierre Gonon. His approach is rooted in a classical, terroir-driven philosophy, emphasizing precision, elegance, and restraint. All wines are produced from certified CCOF organic and biodynamic estate fruit and crafted in extremely limited quantities—just a few thousand cases annually. Set on 168 acres on the eastern slopes of the Spring Mountain District AVA, Stony Hill is a secluded, high-elevation estate surrounded by forest, offering sweeping views of Napa Valley. The founders’ original mid-century modern home remains beautifully preserved on the property, reflecting the estate’s enduring sense of place. With each vintage, Stony Hill continues its commitment to elevating quality while honoring its historic legacy.
