Chehalem Mountains AVA Unveils Wine Tasting Passport for Oregon Wine Month
May 7, 2026 (Newberg, OR) — Chehalem Mountains Winegrowers is pleased to announce a month-long promotional event inviting guests to unlock a Magic in the Mountains Ticket by visiting Chehalem Mountain AVA wineries. In honor of Oregon Wine Month, and the Chehalem Mountains AVA’s 20th anniversary, a month-long passport promotion will allow winery guests to earn a free ticket to the AVA’s annual tasting event, Magic in the Mountains at the Allison Inn & Spa on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
To participate, wine lovers can visit any of the 39 participating Magic in the Mountains wineries to receive a gold star on their “passport” – available at The Allison Inn & Spa, the Newberg Chamber of Commerce, or participating wineries. Guests presenting the passport with four gold stars at Magic in the Mountains on Saturday, May 30th, will redeem a single ticket entry to the tasting event. The passport promotion will run all month and until the Magic in the Mountains event on May 30th.
Guests must be 21+ to participate. Passport stamps are available at participating wineries with a visit. No wine purchase is required to receive a stamp. Tastings and wine purchases are optional and subject to each winery’s policies and OLCC requirements.
