Solos Unlocks Premium NoLo in the U.S. as First Wines Made with Breakthrough Aroma Technology Enter Market

Fully live in California, Solos—now scaling to six international markets—is closing the NoLo quality gap, accelerating the category among strong global demand

May 6, 2026 (Hopland, CA) — Solos, a subsidiary of global ingredient solutions provider Prodalim and a leading innovator creating true-to-source no- and low-alcohol (NoLo) beverages, today announced that its U.S. production facility is fully operational, with the first products made using Solos’ patented Aroma Recovery System (ARS) entering the market. The milestone marks a significant step forward for the premium NoLo category, bringing a new level of quality, precision, and scalability to producers in the world’s largest wine market, and represents a major expansion of Solos’ breakthrough technology across its growing global network, with Latin America next.

No- and low-alcohol is now an established category across the U.S. beverage landscape,i with dedicated placement on menus and retail shelves reflecting mainstream status and sustained consumer demand.ii As the NoLo wine space evolves, premiumization is accelerating, with demand for oLerings that retain sensory integrity continuing to outpace supply. Solos’ sought-after technology enables U.S. wine brands to participate in the category’s rapid growth, expanding market access and capturing under-served demand at the premium price tier.

“NoLo has reached an inflection point, and the next phase will be defined by quality,” said Niv Benyehuda, CEO of Solos. “In wine, the challenge has never been removing alcohol, it has been preserving what matters: aromatic integrity and wine character. This is what Solos solves at scale.”

Early commercial traction is already evident. Oceano Wines, which focuses on terroir-driven wines from California’s coastal vineyards, will release its first alcohol-removed wines made with Solos’ ARS technology this May, under the Oceano Zero label. The wines include single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Spanish Springs Vineyard (SRP $45 and $55), with the brand noting much of the production is already pre-sold ahead of launch.

“Solos is the bridge between fine wine craftsmanship and NoLo expression, delivering a truly wine-like experience in non-alcoholic wine,” said Rachel Martin, Oceano Wines founder and CEO, who began working with the company after finding non-alcoholic wines made with Solos’ ARS retain greater fidelity to varietal character, structure, and sense of place. “Solos solves one of the biggest quality gaps in non-alcoholic wine: the loss of aromatic detail during alcohol removal. For single-vineyard producers, it’s the unlock we’ve been waiting for.”

At scale, that momentum is also evident in sparkling. Rack & Riddle, the #1 custom sparkling wine producer in the U.S.iii and Solos’ exclusive partner for sparkling wine production, has already sold nearly half of an initial run of alcohol-removed sparkling wine crafted using Solos’ ARS. Rack & Riddle’s production expertise and finishing infrastructure, combined with Solos’ technology, are a turnkey solution for brands seeking to enter the attractive sparkling wine NoLo subcategory.

“We’re seeing real demand from our winery clients for premium NoLo sparkling wines that can stand alongside traditional oLerings,” said Mark Garaventa, CCO, Rack & Riddle. “With Solos’ technology, we’re able to deliver products that meet those expectations and move quickly to market. Sparkling is uniquely suited for alcohol removal, and we are excited to bring this expanded capability to our existing and new customers.”

With Northern California now live, alongside facilities serving customers in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and France, Solos is becoming a key accelerant of NoLo globally, creating a flywheel for bringing premium NoLo wines and other beverages to market worldwide. Global demand for NoLo wine is expected to reach a projected USD $3.7 billion by 2030, with premium wines accounting for an estimated $1.5 billion of the category.iv Solos is scaling the infrastructure to meet the NoLo opportunity, expanding next into Latin America with service centers in Mexico and Chile.
