Baghera/Wines Shines the Spotlight on the Stars of Its Two Anniversary Sales

See you on May 10, 2026!

KIPLING #15 – Prélude – morning sale 10 am CET
KIPLING #16 – Heartbeat – afternoon charity sale 2.30 pm CET

May 4, 2026 (Geneva, Switzerland) — After announcing last week the celebration of its 10th anniversary, as well as an exceptional day of sales to be held on May 10 in Geneva at the renowned Lion d’Or restaurant in Cologny, Baghera/wines today unveils the flagship lots set to take center stage. Already highly anticipated, this anniversary date will bring together two complementary events: Prélude in the morning, followed by Heartbeat in the afternoon — a charity-focused direct-from-estate sale that will embody the emotional highlight of this celebration.

Just days before the hammer falls, Baghera/wines unveils four exceptional lots that are expected to capture the attention of collectors from around the world.

KIPLING #15
Prélude – Morning sale May 10

Starting at 10am CET, Prélude will bring together wines of outstanding provenance, selected for their rarity and immediate appeal.

Top lots

  • Lot 210 – Château d’Yquem, Lur-Saluces, 1926
Already 100 years old, this benchmark reference is sought after for its purity, aging potential and rarity.
  • Lot 78 – Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Romanée-Conti 2015
A mythical bottle from a great vintage also celebrating its 10th anniversary, symbolizing a market increasingly attentive to the finest signatures.

KIPLING #16
Heartbeat – Afternoon sale on May 10, dedicated to “direct from estates” offerings and charity

At 2:30 pm CET, Heartbeat will bring the full scope of this anniversary day to life. A charity-focused, direct-from-estate sale, it will feature lots specially entrusted by emblematic estates, in a spirit of generosity, heritage, and excellence. Heartbeat will offer unique creations, rare formats, and a singular opportunity to acquire some of the jewels of France’s wine heritage.

Top lots

  • Lot 7 – Domaine Leflaive, Chevalier-Montrachet 2015 in jeroboam
An exclusive lot offered directly by the estate for this anniversary sale… a format virtually unavailable on the market, in support of a noble cause.
  • Lot 60 – Domaine Méo-Camuzet, Richebourg 1970
A singular lot set to leave a lasting impression at auction, vinified by the great Henri Jayer and carefully cellared ever since by the Méo-Camuzet family.

True to its commitment to the wine world and to charitable causes, Baghera/wines is partnering with the charitable initiative of the Association 12 de Cœur and will donate 100% of the proceeds from the sale to Les Restos du Cœur and the Fondation Reload by Niki Pirker.

Through these flagship lots, Baghera/wines reaffirms what has defined its singular approach for the past ten years: impeccable provenance, a keen sense of storytelling, and the ability to transform each sale into a moment of emotion.

“A great sale is not simply about bringing together rare bottles: it celebrates the legacy of estates, the craft of winemakers, and the transmission between generations of collectors. At Baghera/wines, we wanted this anniversary sale to combine excellence and generosity. Pairing remarkable lots with a session dedicated to charity gives this day a very special meaning.” — Michael Ganne, Founder of Baghera/wines and auctioneer for the sale.

In September 2020, Baghera/wines inaugurated its new Geneva entity: a private club and boutique dedicated to great wines within Beau-Rivage Genève. In October 2022, the company further expanded its activities in Asia with the opening of Baghera/wines Singapore Ltd in Singapore. This entity began organizing live and online auctions from December 2022 onward.

The year 2023 marked the creation of Baghera/wines France, an entity authorized to conduct auctions across France. A second private club dedicated to collectors and event activities was also inaugurated in Nuits-Saint-Georges.
