May 1, 2026 (Newberg, OR) — This month, Oregon Vintner Chase Renton will host a powerful series of events surrounding the launch of Resilience ($38), a limited-production Willamette Valley Pinot Noir crafted from L’Angolo Estate vineyard in the Dundee Hills AVA. Released in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month, Resilience transforms Renton’s deeply personal journey with anxiety and depression into a platform for conversation, connection and impact—with 100% of proceeds benefitting the Kevin Love Fund.
Resilience is a mission-driven initiative designed to foster an open dialogue around mental health while raising critical funds for emotional wellness education and stigma reduction. Renton hopes Resilience will become a national model for how wine can build community while supporting meaningful change.
Following his own experiences navigating cancer, burnout and mental health challenges, Renton created Resilience to embody healing, vulnerability and transformation. The wine’s label—featuring Renton’s own handwriting—is inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold, symbolizing strength through healing.
Throughout May, Renton will host a series of launch activations across the Portland metro area and the Willamette Valley, inviting guests to taste Resilience, connect with its story and participate in a broader movement centered on community.

Renton’s journey has shaped every aspect of Resilience. His longstanding friendship with NBA champion Kevin Love, whose own public advocacy helped destigmatize mental health conversations, made the Kevin Love Fund a natural philanthropic partner.
With Resilience, Renton hopes to remind people that wine can be more than a beverage—it can be a catalyst for connection in an increasingly isolated world. Resilience Pinot Noir will be available beginning today through L’Angolo Estate’s mailing list, tasting room and select retail partners, including Zupan’s Markets.

About the Kevin Love Fund
When professional basketball player Kevin Love publicly shared his personal story about challenges with mental health after a public panic attack during a game, he had no idea the movement it would create. One by one, fans and other high-profile celebrities began to share their own stories of fear and struggle. Quickly, a national conversation had begun.
In 2018, Love established the Kevin Love Fund (KLF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to inspire people to live their healthiest lives by creating equity between mental and physical health. As an evidence-based nonprofit organization, KLF focuses on research, education, and narrative change to break the stigma around mental health. To learn more, visit kevinlovefund.org.
