Morning session: when the room ignites

KIPLING #16 – Heartbeat – provenance direct estates
Charity afternoon session: the wine estates take the stage

April 23, 2026 (Geneva, Switzerland) — To properly celebrate its 10th anniversary, Baghera/wines will stage an exceptional event on Sunday, May 10, 2026, marking a decade of close relationships with estates, winemakers, and its loyal bidders. The entire day, dedicated to auctions, will feature two major anniversary sales: KIPLING #15 Prelude, held in the morning, followed in the afternoon by KIPLING #16 Heartbeat, a charity sale comprising lots sourced directly and exclusively from the estates. The auction will take place in Geneva and will be broadcast live from the renowned Le Lion d’Or, one of Geneva’s gastronomic landmarks.

KIPLING #15
Prélude – Morning auction session May 10

Born from the spontaneous gesture of a collector loyal to Baghera/wines and to Michael Ganne for more than 20 years, the morning sale KIPLING #15 Prelude celebrates the friendship, time, and passion that animate the world of wine.

The collection, made up of bottles from a cellar preserved under the most rigorous storage conditions, brings together the most sought-after cuvées worldwide. Mythical vintages ranging from 1811, 1838, 1857, 1858, 1865 up to 2022, expressed in rare formats, ranging from the bottle to very large formats: Melchior (18 litres), Nebuchadnezzar (15 litres), Balthazar (12 litres), Salmanazar (9 litres)…

Great white Burgundies with Domaine Raveneau from the 2004 to 2022 vintages, more than 240 bottles of the legendary crus of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti including more than 100 bottles of La Tâche, but also the finest Bordeaux with an impressive vertical of Château d’Yquem from 1857 to the present day, great champagnes and ultimate rarities – including two Malaga from 1838 and an Emperor’s Fine Champagne cognac from 1811 – make up this auction conceived as an imaginary and unforgettable journey through the summits of wine and spirits.

KIPLING #16
Heartbeat – Charity afternoon session direct provenance from the estates

For the celebration of a decade of existence, a chapter entirely dedicated to the exceptional relationship that Baghera/wines has managed to build with the most prestigious and most sought-after estates in the world could not be missing.

Thus, Baghera/wines presents KIPLING #16 Heartbeat, a charity sale in partnership with Association 12 de Cœur, bringing together exclusively wines sourced directly from châteaux and estates. A true tribute to the winemakers, producers, and properties that have accompanied its history since the beginning. In continuity with his commitment to his clients, Michael Ganne conceived offering collectors the assurance of impeccable provenance. The latter, a guarantee of trust and lasting value, is an essential pillar of the house.

The sale brings together great names from European vineyards. Some of these vintages had not moved from the winemakers’ cellars for more than 110 years… such as Toro Albalá Don PX 1910, Clos des Mouches 1929, Musigny Jadot 1961, Richebourg Méo 1970, La Tâche 1971, but also beautiful and rare formats such as a Jeroboam of Chevalier-Montrachet from Domaine Leflaive 2015, an Imperial Petrus 1988, a double magnum Sassicaia 1995, or a 6-litre Vega Sicilia Único 2007.

Of note are two exceptional provenances originating from Baghera/wines’ historic sales: a group from Henri Jayer The Heritage (2018) and another from La Romanée Memories 1862–2005, both kept without movement in the house’s warehouses since their adjudication.

Faithful to its commitment to the wine world and to charitable causes, Baghera/wines is joining the charitable branch of Association 12 de Coeur and will donate 100% of the profits from the sale to Les Restos du Coeur and Niki Pirker’s Fondation Reload.

More than an auction, Heartbeat intends to make May 10 a landmark day for the world of wine auctions, a guarantee of transmission and emotion, celebrating those who give birth to great wines.

“We took great care in considering the most meaningful way to pay tribute to all those who have stood by us since day one. We imagined a day that truly reflects who we are: in the morning, Prelude, born from a spirit of friendship and sharing; in the afternoon, Heartbeat, as a tribute to the estates, the winemakers, and their remarkable generosity. They have always placed their trust in us, and together we have built lasting, unbreakable bonds. More than just a sale, it is a donation for two charities close to our hearts – it is a heartfelt celebration of sharing, commitment, loyalty, and authenticity. And none of it would mean anything without the emotion that only great wines can inspire.” — Michael Ganne, Founder Baghera/wines.
