The Half Moon Bay Downtown Association Presents: The Fifth Annual Half Moon Bay Wine & Jazz Festival  

Featuring California Wineries, World-Class Jazz, Local Cuisine, and More!

April 6, 2026 (Half Moon Bay, CA) — The Half Moon Bay Wine & Jazz Festival has announced the Main Stage music lineup for its fifth annual event, returning to historic Main Street in downtown Half Moon Bay on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 12–5 p.m.

This year’s festival will feature an exceptional lineup of jazz artists curated by acclaimed bassist, composer, and bandleader Marcus Shelby, alongside tastings from more than 40 California wineries, local food vendors, and a craft beer garden.

Main Stage Jazz Lineup Announced

Appearing on the festival’s Main Stage are Jesús Diaz Y Su QBA, the Marcus Shelby Nonet, Stella Heath, and Rabiah Kabir.

Jesús Diaz Y Su QBA — Havana-born percussionist and vocalist Jesús Diaz delivers an electrifying fusion of Afro-Cuban rhythms, jazz, and funk that brings audiences to their feet.

Marcus Shelby Nonet: Birth of the Cool Revisited — In celebration of the centennial of Miles Davis, the Marcus Shelby Nonet will perform music from the landmark 1949 recording Birth of the Cool in its original instrumentation.

Stella Heath: From Billie Holiday to Edith Piaf — Vocalist Stella Heath connects the music and stories of Billie Holiday and Edith Piaf in a performance that moves seamlessly between jazz and French chanson.

Rabiah Kabir — Bay Area jazz flutist Rabiah Kabir blends expressive playing and storytelling into a thoughtful contemporary jazz sound shaped by the region’s vibrant musical community.

The festival is grateful for the leadership of Artistic Director Marcus Shelby, whose vision and deep knowledge of jazz continue to shape the festival’s musical identity.

Food, Beer, and Local Flavor

Festivalgoers can enjoy food from local vendors including Sam’s Chowdermobile, Fire & Slice Pizza, Fishwife Sweets, Lilo’s Kitchen, and Sage Bakehouse. The beer and cider garden will feature craft brews from Devil’s Canyon Brewing, Hop Dogma Brewing Co. and Laughing Monk Brewing, cider from Santa Cruz Cider Company, and cocktails from Jettywave Distillery.

  • General Admission wine tasting tickets are $68 and come with a commemorative tasting glass.
