New membership tier dedicated to Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Rosé meets growing consumer demand for vibrant, food-friendly wines
February 23, 2026 (Healdsburg, CA) — Dry Creek Vineyard, one of Sonoma County’s pioneering family estates and a standard-bearer of Dry Creek Valley winemaking since 1972, today announced the launch of its new Blancs & Rosé Club – a membership devoted entirely to the winery’s celebrated portfolio of aromatic whites and rosé.

The new club is a natural evolution of the winery’s history. Dry Creek Vineyard was founded on aromatic whites — Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc were among its earliest bottlings — and for more than five decades, the winery has refined its approach to these expressive, terroir-driven varietals. The Blancs & Rosé Club brings that legacy directly to members who gravitate toward the bright, vibrant side of the portfolio.
“Our wine club has always included a mix of reds and whites,” said Kim Stare Wallace, second-generation owner and President of Dry Creek Vineyard, who celebrates her 40th year with the winery in 2026. “But when you think about how deeply Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc are woven into our story, it’s almost surprising we didn’t create a white wine club sooner. This felt like the right moment to give these wines a home of their own.”
The launch aligns with broader consumer momentum. Aromatic, lighter-style wines continue to gain traction, particularly among Millennials — now the largest wine-buying demographic — who increasingly seek wines that are fresh, fruit-forward, food-friendly and moderate in alcohol. Industry data show sustained growth in Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and sparkling wines, reflecting a shift toward wines that offer both vibrancy and versatility across occasions.
Dry Creek Vineyard’s commitment to these varieties stretches back to its founding. In 1972, David Stare established the winery with a Loire Valley-inspired vision, planting the first Sauvignon Blanc in Dry Creek Valley. His early conviction helped define the region’s white wine identity. Dry Creek Vineyard is also the only winery in California to produce Chenin Blanc for 54 consecutive vintages.
The Blancs & Rosé Club will feature curated shipments each spring and fall centered on hallmark varieties — Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay — alongside the winery’s rosé and select winery-exclusive bottlings not available in the marketplace. The winery’s recently introduced Sparkling Chenin Blanc, crafted in the Méthode Champenoise tradition, will also be featured.
“These wines are bright, nuanced and deeply expressive of place,” Wallace added. “They’re incredibly food-friendly, incredibly versatile — and they’ve been at the heart and soul of who we are since Day One. The Blancs & Rosé Club simply puts that story front and center.”
Wallace founded the original Dry Creek Vineyard wine club in 1987, making it one of California’s earliest direct-to-consumer wine clubs. Nearly four decades later, the program remains a cornerstone of the winery’s relationship with its most loyal customers. The Blancs & Rosé Club joins existing membership tiers as a dedicated offering for those who want to build their cellar — and their table — around the winery’s aromatic whites and rosé.
Membership in the Blancs & Rosé Club is available now at drycreekvineyard.com/memberships.
“For more than 50 years, we’ve poured ourselves into these wines,” Wallace said. “Now we have a club that celebrates them as fully as they deserve.”
