Designed for discerning palates, From Vine to Ocean invites guests to experience an intimate evening of storytelling, elevated cuisine and exceptional wines. Each quarter, mar’sel welcomes a celebrated vintner for a thoughtfully curated, multi-course dinner highlighting the harmony between land and sea, seasonal ingredients and world-class winemaking.

Cakebread Cellars Dinner at mar’sel
Thursday, March 5, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Guests are invited to an intimate evening with winemaker Bruce Cakebread, featuring the celebrated wines of Cakebread Cellars. Bright Napa Valley chardonnays will be paired with butter-poached lobster and diver scallops followed by layered red wines alongside handmade tagliolini, red wine-braised veal cheeks and Wagyu ribeye. The evening concludes with pear belle H?l?ne, offering a refined finale to an unforgettable oceanfront dining experience at Terranea.

GAJA Winery Dinner at mar’sel
Thursday, June 25, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Inspired by GAJA Winery, one of Italy’s most iconic estates rooted in the hills of Piedmont, this chef-curated dinner honors the elegance, heritage and timeless character that have defined GAJA as a global benchmark in fine wine. Founded in 1859 GAJA is celebrated for generations of craftsmanship and its profound expression of place, brought to life through an evening of exceptional wines and elevated seasonal cuisine.

Shafer Vineyards Dinner at mar’sel
Thursday, August 6, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
This Napa Valley-inspired evening showcases the renowned wines of Shafer Vineyards from the Stags Leap District. Family-owned and hillside-driven, Shafer is known for powerful yet refined wines crafted with precision and care. The dinner highlights the harmony between bold California expression, chef-driven seasonal cuisine and Terranea’s coastal setting.

Laurent-Perrier Champagne Dinner at mar’sel
Thursday, October 22, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Guests will celebrate an evening of French sophistication inspired by the iconic champagne house Laurent-Perrier. Founded in 1812 the maison is known for its fresh, elegant style and commitment to balance and purity. This sparkling dinner captures the spirit of celebration, pairing refined champagne with the sweeping ocean views of Terranea.
