A Curated Culinary Journey Highlighting the Synergy Between Local Ingredients and Estate Wines
January 28, 2026 (Sonoma, CA) — Anaba Wines, recently voted “Best Tasting Room” in the Sonoma Index-Tribune’s People’s Choice Awards, is proud to announce the launch of its Seasonal Food and Wine Pairing. This elevated yet approachable seated flight offers guests a deeper exploration of the Anaba portfolio, showcasing the harmony between fresh, local ingredients and the winery’s acclaimed Sonoma Coast and Carneros bottlings.

Crafted by Anaba’s Estate Chef, the experience features a selection of small plates specifically designed to enhance the nuances of the wines. Because the menu refreshes frequently to feature new seasonal dishes, every visit provides a new perspective on the versatility of Anaba’s numerous small-production, highly rated wines from select Sonoma vineyards.
“Our goal with this experience is to show, rather than just tell, how a thoughtful pairing can transform what’s in your glass,” said Proprietor John Sweazey. “It’s the perfect way to showcase Winemaker Katy Wilson’s gorgeous wines alongside the incredible quality of ingredients we’re able to source right here in Sonoma.”
This new offering is hosted amidst the warm hospitality of the Vintners House, where the inviting atmosphere and views of the estate vineyards create the ideal setting for a relaxed yet refined tasting. Guests can enjoy the experience while soaking in the unique anabatic winds that define the region’s terroir. The current flight features the 2023 Landa Vineyard Viognier paired with Greek Grilled Shrimp, the 2023 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay served with signature Whipped Feta, and the 2021 Las Brisas Pinot Noir paired with house-made Spiced Lamb Meatballs.
In addition to this new seated experience, Anaba continues to offer a relaxed menu of small plates available every day the winery is open. For those looking for a casual afternoon, Anaba’s signature wood-fired pizzas are also available Thursday through Sunday.
Booking Information: The Seasonal Food and Wine Pairing is offered Thursday through Sunday by advanced reservation. The experience is $65 per person ($35 for Anaba Club Members). Reservations can be made via the Anaba Wines website at www.anabawines.com.
About Anaba Wines
Located at the gateway of the famed Carneros region in the Sonoma Valley, Anaba Wines is an example of the region’s unique terroir and the power of nature. The winery’s name, “Anaba,” is derived from the anabatic winds that grace Sonoma’s Carneros and Petaluma Gap regions, drawing a parallel to the mistral winds of the Rhône Valley.
Founded in 2006 by proprietor John Sweazey, Anaba is inspired by the generational traditions of winemaking and a deep appreciation for the land that John discovered during his French wine region travels. Anaba is dedicated to sustainability: in 2009, Anaba became the first winery in Northern California to install a wind turbine. Complemented by solar panel installations, the winery operates on 100% renewable electricity, and guests can utilize the complimentary EV chargers in the parking lot while visiting the tasting room.
