December 12, 2025 (Newberg, OR) — Century Vineyards, a new leader in Oregon vineyard management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Hubert as its new Vineyard Manager. With decades of experience in sustainable viticulture and vineyard operations, Chris brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for quality that aligns perfectly with Century Vineyards’ commitment to “boots on the ground” excellence.
As Vineyard Manager, Chris will assist in the day-to-day operations of Century Vineyards’ portfolio, working with the team, and interacting with clients.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chris to the Century Vineyards team,” says Evan Bellingar, Founder and President of Century Vineyards. “Chris is a true industry veteran who has managed many of Oregon’s finest vineyards. I first worked with Chris in 2011, and I am thrilled to bring him on board at Century Vineyards to continue to deliver top management and local expertise to our clients.”
Before joining Century Vineyards, Chris Hubert served as Project Manager for Oregon’s largest vineyard management company, and had built and led their Southern Oregon business unit. Chris has farmed coffee in Hawaii, taught viticulture classes, and is excited to get back to managing vineyards.
“I am excited to be joining the Century Vineyards team and to contribute to the company’s vision of producing outstanding wines while prioritizing sustainability and innovation,” said Chris. When not scouting vineyards, Chris can usually be found walking forests looking for chanterelles, or on the water in search of steelhead or Dungeness crab.
