With 100% sold by lot and value, these sales confirmed the extraordinary global appetite for rare and historic bottles directly from one of Burgundy’s most celebrated estates.
The highlight of the auctions was a single bottle of Bouchard Père & Fils, La Tâche 1886, which soared to £325,000 – over 2,200% above its low estimate – marking one of the most remarkable results for historic Burgundy at auction.
The sales underscore the enduring prestige of Bouchard Père & Fils and the exceptional quality of its Grand Cru and Premier Cru wines, proving that bottles with extraordinary provenance and historical significance remain highly coveted worldwide.
