November 24, 2025 (Houston, TX) — The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ drew top wine producers from around the globe and honored standout vintners in the 2026 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition.
Several wines from Europvin received notable awards, especially Bodegas Granbazán, which was recognized for its award-winning Albariños. This recognition highlights the outstanding reputation of Bodegas Granbazán and is a testament to the consistent excellence and high standards maintained across the Europvin portfolio. The following wines received Double Gold and a Gold Medal, respectively.
- Granbazán Etiqueta Verde earned a Double Gold – Class Champion
- Granbazán Ámbar received a Gold Medal
Over 3,127 entries were received from a record 25 countries and a panel of 130 expert judges, consisting of industry experts and connoisseurs, thoroughly evaluated the diverse selection of wines across multiple categories. Each wine was reviewed based on factors such as aroma, taste, appearance, and overall balance.
