November 18, 2025 (Healdsburg, CA) — Beginning immediately, MacRostie Winery & Vineyards will debut a new sparkling wine tasting exclusively for the holiday season—the MacRostie Elevated Sparkling Food & Wine Experience. Timed to coincide with the holidays and the winery’s Sparkling Wine Allocation Offering, the new experience shines a spotlight on MacRostie’s acclaimed sparkling wine program and features the highly anticipated 2022 MacRostie Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, and Brut Rosé, as well as limited-production still wines from the MacRostie Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Clonal Series.
Hosted at the MacRostie Estate House in Healdsburg, which was named one of “The Ten Most Beautiful Wineries in California” by Condé Nast Traveler and honored by San Francisco Magazine as the “Best Tasting Room in Napa and Sonoma,” the experience pairs each sparkling wine with a curated menu of elevated small bites featuring ingredients from local artisan farmers and producers.
Led by acclaimed Winemaker Heidi Bridenhagen, MacRostie’s sparkling program was born from nearly four decades of experience growing and making Sonoma Coast Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Crafted in the traditional Méthode Champenoise and aged for 30 months en tirage, each sparkling wine reflects the winery’s commitment to patience, precision, and artistry. The Blanc de Blancs is sourced from the Sangiacomo family’s Kiser Ranch, the Blanc de Noirs from MacRostie’s own Thale’s Estate Vineyard, and the Brut Rosé from Thale’s and the Martinelli family’s Woolsey Ranch.
“At MacRostie, we’ve always believed that life is better with a little sparkle,” says Winemaker Heidi Bridenhagen. “Our sparkling wines are some of my favorite to craft because they bring together patience, precision, and joy. They capture the essence of celebration. They are bright, expressive, and incredibly fun to pair with food. During the holidays, they’re not just wines to toast with, they are wines to savor and experience.”
The Elevated Sparkling Food & Wine Experience invites guests to explore how thoughtful food pairings enhance the character of each sparkling wine through a flight of three MacRostie sparkling selections and two limited-production Single Clone wines. The pairing feature such delectable combinations as lemon shortbread with breakfast Brie and Smith family honey and olive oil potato chips with crème fraiche and Tsar caviar. The 90-minute guided tasting is designed to be both sophisticated and celebratory, offering an ideal way to toast the holiday season in Sonoma.
Timed to coincide with the November announcement of MacRostie’s Sparkling Wine Allocations, the experience offers members an exclusive opportunity to try MacRostie’s new vintage of sparkling wines before they purchase. With special member pricing available throughout the season, it’s a festive and engaging way to explore the newest expressions from the MacRostie sparkling collection.
