Domaine Tariquet Partners with Albert Bichot USA to Expand Its U.S. Presence

This new partnership will bring Domaine Tariquet’s fresh, elegant wines to select markets this fall, with a national rollout planned for early 2026

November 6, 2025Domaine Tariquet, the storied, family-owned estate in Gascony known for redefining French white wines, is set to expand its presence in the U.S. market this fall through a new partnership with Albert Bichot USA, the American import division of the esteemed, Burgundy-based house.

Established in 1912 and now stewarded by the fifth generation of the Grassa family, Domaine Tariquet has long been a leader in Gascony. Before becoming one of France’s foremost still wine estates, the family was renowned for producing Bas-Armagnac, a tradition dating back to the 17th century. The fifth generation of winemakers, brothers Armin and Rémy Grassa, now manage the estate. As “propriétaire-récoltant” they control every stage of production from planting to bottling. The estate benefits from an oceanic climate and diverse terroirs, and the new generation has preserved the heritage and tradition deeply rooted in Domaine Tariquet, with an emphasis on their deep respect for the land, expert craftsmanship, and production of fresh, elegant and balanced wines.

“We are excited to begin this partnership with Albert Bichot USA, a collaboration that resonates with both trust and shared passion. The United States holds a very special

place in our history, as it was the very first export market for Domaine Tariquet back in the 1980s. Today, we embrace this new chapter with joy, and we are eager to reconnect and continue our journey with American wine lovers,” said Rémy Grassa and Armin Grassa, brothers and owners.

The rollout under Albert Bichot USA will spotlight Tariquet’s flagship Classic ($16.99

SRP), a benchmark white blend of Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin and Gros Manseng that has become synonymous with the estate’s crisp, vibrant style. With naturally lower alcohol (around 10.5% ABV) and remarkable freshness, Classic offers outstanding versatility at the table and exceptional value in the glass.

Also featured are two of Tariquet’s most distinctive expressions of Gros Manseng. Amplitude ($26.99 SRP) is a textured, 100% Gros Manseng bottling that delivers expressive stone fruit and floral aromatics with lively acidity—a gastronomic white that highlights the estate’s spirit of innovation. By contrast, Premières Grives ($29.99 SRP) is crafted from late-harvested Gros Manseng grapes, resulting in an off-dry cuvée with perfumed tropical fruit, honeyed richness, and vibrant lift. Its balance of sweetness and freshness makes it a natural partner for both spicy cuisine and indulgent desserts.

Rounding out the collection is Réserve ($26.99 SRP), a structured and elegant blend partially aged in oak to bring depth and age-worthy complexity, alongside two varietal wines—Sauvignon Blanc ($19.99 SRP), zesty and citrus-driven with a clean finish, and Chardonnay ($19.99 SRP), an unoaked, fruit-forward style that emphasizes purity, minerality, and freshness.

Each wine exemplifies Tariquet’s hallmark style—fresh, bright, and effortlessly drinkable—while offering a vibrant reflection of its terroir and a modern expression of southwestern France.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Domaine Tariquet to the Albert Bichot portfolio,” said Jim Opalka, President of Albert Bichot USA. “This is a brand with deep roots, a pioneering spirit, and a modern, accessible approach to winemaking that we know American consumers and trade will embrace.”

In addition to its white wines, Albert Bichot USA will be introducing the estate’s celebrated Armagnacs to the U.S. market in early 2027. Today, with over 1,100 hectares under vine and a commitment to sustainability and precision farming, Domaine Tariquet is a global reference for high-quality, affordable French whites, as well as their Armagnac.

“Domaine Tariquet represents the future of French wine: terroir-driven, fresh, and made with care,” added Jim Opalka. “We look forward to expanding the brand’s presence with nationwide rollouts in 2026 and beyond.”
