November 5, 2025 (Napa Valley, CA) — Master Sommelier Ian Cauble, known worldwide from the documentary SOMM and respected for his ability to connect people to wine through vivid storytelling, has announced the launch of The Caubleist, a new daily wine platform aimed at helping consumers explore exceptional bottles from around the world with context and meaning.

Cauble plans to draw on his deep knowledge of wine and his background in education and storytelling to make the platform distinctive. Each day, The Caubleist will feature a single, carefully chosen wine accompanied by a short narrative about the producer, the vineyard, and the winemaking approach. Subscribers will also find tasting notes and pairing ideas that illustrate how the wine fits into its regional and stylistic lineage.

“My goal with The Caubleist is to make world-class wine discovery approachable and deeply personal,” said Cauble. “Each selection represents the strongest value I can find from producers who express the true character of their region.”

Most featured wines will come from organically or biodynamically farmed vineyards across Europe—Burgundy, Piedmont, the Rhône, the Mosel, Rioja, and others—with periodic selections from North America and the Southern Hemisphere. The format encourages readers to learn by tasting, broadening their understanding of classic and emerging wine regions over time.

Based in Napa Valley, Cauble spends several months each year visiting estates abroad, often uncovering small, family-run properties that rarely reach the U.S. market.
