Growers to Deliver Statewide Insights on the 2025 Grape Harvest

October 22, 2025 (Sacramento, CA) — The California Association of Winegrape Growers (CAWG) will host a virtual Post-Harvest Press Conference on Wednesday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m., bringing together industry voices for a timely, grower-led recap of the 2025 harvest.
This year’s event will offer a comprehensive statewide perspective, with expert commentary on yields, fruit quality, and key challenges from across California’s diverse winegrowing regions. In a year marked by challenges, this platform gives media and industry professionals direct access to growers’ firsthand accounts.
Speakers will include:
- Natalie Collins, CAWG President – framing policy and advocacy updates
- Jeff Bitter, President, Allied Grape Growers – delivering a statewide market overview
- Regional insights from CAWG Board Directors:
- Gregg Hibbits, Grapevine Capital Partners – Central Coast
- Aaron Lange, LangeTwins Family Winery and Vineyards – Lodi/San Joaquin Valley
- Cameron Mauritson, Mauritson Farms – Sonoma/North Coast
- Johnnie White, Piña Vineyard Management – Napa Valley
Discussion topics will include weather and climate impacts, labor and water access, production trends, and success stories from the vintage. The event will run approximately 60 minutes, be hosted virtually via Zoom, and include a dedicated media Q&A session with optional follow-up interviews available upon request.
The event is open to members of the media and the wine industry, who are invited to attend and engage directly with growers from across the state.
