
October 21, 2025 (New York, NY) — Wines of Hungary is happy to announce its participation in two natural wine fairs happening in New York City. Several wine producers will be featured at Karakterre 16 and Orange Glou on October 25th and 26th, respectively.
Karakterre 16, Central and Eastern European wines’ leading wine fair, will take place at Domino Park Square in Brooklyn, N on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 11:30am – 5pm and will feature Hungarian producers Jász Laci (Somló), Oliver Weingartner (Somló), P.A.N.K. (Köveskál, Balaton-felvidék), Wassmann (Villány). Tickets and information can be found here.
The next day, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, nine (9) producers of Hungarian wine will be featured at the annual Orange Glou Festival at Home Studios in New York City. A complete list of Hungarian wines can be found on the website. Tickets and information can be found here.
“We are excited to be showcasing this special category of wines in New York City this weekend,” said Nikolett Garai, Head of International Marketing at the Hungarian Wine Marketing Agency, “it is obvious this is now longer an “alternative” category and instead one that is both here to stay and moving the needle of Hungarian wine forward.”
