The landmark project expands Oregon Wine Country with 118 rooms, vineyard views, and elevated amenities
October 6, 2025 (Dayton, OR) — McMinnville Properties, a division of The Stoller Group, has broken ground on the Marriott AC Retreat at the Evergreen campus in McMinnville, ushering in a bold new chapter of hospitality to Oregon wine country. The five-story, 118-room hotel will offer a modern retreat, blending contemporary hospitality with vineyard views and amenities that celebrate the region’s culture and landscape. The new development highlights The Stoller Group’s commitment to shaping the future of Yamhill County.

Spanning nearly 100,000 square feet, the Marriott AC Retreat will deliver a curated guest experience across every level. Features include a vibrant lobby bar, the AC Kitchen for coffee and breakfast, an outdoor pool, a fully equipped gym, a yoga platform overlooking the vineyards, and 15 veranda suites with private terraces for extended stays. The highlight will be the fifth-floor lounge and wine room where guests and locals can take in sweeping vineyard views awhile enjoying regional food and wines.
“Breaking ground on the Marriott AC Retreat marks an exciting step forward for Yamhill County,” said Wayne Marschall, CEO of The Stoller Group. “McMinnville Properties was created to bring thoughtful, long-term investments to this region. This hotel will not only welcome visitors to Oregon wine country but also strengthen the vitality of the local economy for years to come.”
The new hotel builds on The Stoller Group’s broader vision for the Evergreen campus in McMinnville, which is home to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum and Wings & Waves Waterpark. With the recently renovated theater and events center, newly constructed 10,000-square-foot reception hall, and existing chapel, the campus is already a draw for families and groups alike. The Marriott AC Retreat will add the critical element of elevated lodging, positioning the campus as a year-round destination for corporate events, weddings, and leisure travelers in the wine country. Designed by SERA Architects and SERA Interiors, with R&H Construction serving as general contractor, the new hotel will be operated by Escape Lodging and is slated to open in May 2027.
“This project is more than a hotel. It’s a gathering place, a wellness escape, and a celebration of our region’s landscape and culture,” said McMinnville Properties Vice President, Steve Scott. “From sunrise yoga to sunset wines, the AC Retreat is where the energy of wine country truly comes alive.”
