Our foundation is proud to continue supporting transformative organizations like Smile Train, bringing together philanthropy, Jordan wines and seasonal cuisine in a celebration of giving.”

“I had such a wonderful time at this year’s Starlight Supper at the Jordan Vineyard & Winery in support of Smile Train,” shared Jennie Garth. “The work they’re doing to provide life-changing cleft care for kids around the world is so important. The night was filled with amazing food, wine, and heartfelt moments that reminded me how powerful it is when we all come together for something bigger than ourselves. I’m so grateful I got to be part of such a special evening for such a worthwhile cause.”

Guests were welcomed to Jordan Winery’s Chateau with a magical reception among Camphor trees and vineyard views, where guests enjoyed sips of the Jordan Cuvée by Champagne AR Lenoble and gourmet passed hors d’oeuvres, before being seated on the alfresco Jordan Winery Terrace for a seasonal three-course dinner prepared by Jordan’s Executive Chef Jesse Mallgren and team. The estate-driven menu highlighted beautiful ingredients from the winery garden, thoughtfully paired with vintages of Jordan Chardonnay and Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon. Signature dishes included Beggar’s Purses filled with Jordan Chef’s Reserve Caviar by Tsar NicoulaiLightly Poached Scallops and Lobster with tarragon, concombre à la crème and smoked trout roe; Flannery Beef Dry-Aged New York Strip Loin with potato dauphinoise, estate garden squash and cabernet sauce; and, for dessert, an Estate Berry Napoleon with Jordan Honey pastry cream.

Throughout the evening, the spirit of giving was on full display, culminating in a silent auction that featured an array of exclusive items and experiences. Guests bid on everything from an overnight stay at the Jordan Chateau Suites and signed memorabilia from athletes Jerry Rice and Cameron Jordan, to a Beverly Hills MD skincare collection, rare Jordan library wines from 2007-2021, a trio of Cabernet magnums, a Landsberg Jewelers 14k gold and diamond bracelet, and signed books by Chef Lidia Bastianich, supermodel Christie Brinkley and Chef Tyler Florence. One hundred percent of the $250 ticket sales, along with proceeds from the auction lots totaling nearly $15,000, directly supported Smile Train. In all, the evening raised a total of $63,404 including a generous $25,000 donation from John Jordan and The John Jordan Foundation.
