September 16, 2025 (San Francisco, CA) — The Asian American Wine Association (AWAA) is proud to announce its partnership with Chinatown Community Development Center (Chinatown CDC) as the official Wine Partner for Chinatown CDC’s 48th Annual Gala, Courage to Welcome, taking place Friday, September 19, 2025.
The Asian Wine Association of America champions the wines and heritage of Asian American and Asian vintners in the U.S. through advocacy, community engagement, and professional development. By fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity in the wine industry, AWAA aims to amplify the voices of the AAPI community while cultivating broader appreciation of their wines and contributions to culture and society.
As part of this mission, AWAA collaborates with cultural institutions, culinary establishments, and community organizations to highlight the excellence and diversity of Asian and Asian American wines. Its partnership with Chinatown CDC underscores this commitment by joining in celebration of Chinatown CDC’s long standing work in affordable housing, tenant rights, and community empowerment.

The 48th Annual Gala will take place on Friday, September 19, 2025. Asian Wine Association of America winery members RD Winery, LangeTwins Winery, and Ridge Vineyards will be pouring their wines.
