Saturday, October 25, 4–7 PM | Petaluma, CA
September 10, 2025 (Petaluma, CA) — Two of Petaluma’s most vibrant cultural organizations, the Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance (PGWA) and the Petaluma Arts Center (PAC), will join together for the very first time to debut an unforgettable new experience: Wine & Art: A Sensory Celebration.

Replacing PGWA’s traditional Wind to Wine Grand Tasting, this exclusive, one-night-only event invites guests to immerse themselves in the best of Petaluma’s wines, art, food, and natural beauty–all in one extraordinary evening. The adventure begins at the Petaluma Arts Center, where attendees will view PAC’s current exhibition, while enjoying a sip of Petaluma Gap wine before being whisked away by luxury shuttles to Beaumont Farms in the hills above Petaluma.
Once inside the magical setting, guests will:
- Sip acclaimed wines from more than twenty wineries making wine from the Petaluma Gap American Viticultural Area (AVA) while meeting the passionate growers and winemakers behind each.
- Savor paella crafted by Chef Omar Cruz, artisan cheeses from Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese, and a special dish created by Chef Charlie Palmer’s culinary team, to pair with the wines.
- View an exclusive collection of over 25 hand-painted wine barrels, each transformed by local artists into one-of-a-kind works of art celebrating Petaluma’s wine and agricultural bounty. The barrels will be available for bidding in a silent auction benefiting PAC.
“Artists express what they sense and observe in the world around them,” said Maggie Parr, PAC Program Manager and one of the featured artists. “In this case, the canvas is an aged wooden wine barrel, steeped in the nature and essence of Petaluma’s vineyards.” Cheryl Quist, Executive Director of PGWA, said that “art pairs perfectly with wine, which is a sensory experience of not only the harvest, but the bounty and history of our agricultural and winegrowing region.”
As twilight descends, the evening concludes with a Night Sky Adventure. Before boarding return shuttles, guests will be invited to peer through a powerful telescope for a breathtaking view of the Milky Way, planets, and distant galaxies—a fitting finale to an evening of sensory celebration.
Tickets are $85/each (plus tax and service fee,) and are available online. With attendance limited to just 200 guests, this event is expected to sell out quickly. Guests will be welcomed from 3-4 PM at Petaluma Arts Center (230 Lakeville Street, parking entrance off Washington, and adjacent to the SMART Train Station in downtown Petaluma). Shuttles will begin boarding at 3:00 PM, and the event is from 4-7 PM. Return shuttles will depart from the venue between 6:30 and 7:30 PM and will deliver guests back to PAC. The event venue, Beaumont Farms, has no guest parking, so all guests will park at the lot beside Petaluma Arts Center, and will board the shuttles for the 5-mile trip to/from the event venue.
