The successful relaunch of Seven Daughters Moscato is joined by the Red Blend, driving momentum for a brand that is beating category trends

August 28, 2025 (Lake Bluff, IL) — Terlato Wine Group is expanding its Seven Daughters brand based in Veneto, Italy with the release of its newest label, the Seven Daughters Red Blend. The Red Blend joins the Seven Daughters Moscato in a line-up that has seen resounding success after its relaunch with Academy Award-nominated actor, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author, and entrepreneur Taraji P. Henson joining as strategic advisor and creative collaborator.
The collaboration of Seven Daughters and Taraji P. Henson began with a complete brand refresh of the Moscato in November 2024, featuring an elegant new bottle design, an elevated logo, and playful “Easter eggs” woven into the packaging, or images that fans of Henson would recognize as her favorite things. Since then, Henson has brought fresh energy and momentum to the brand, helping it outpace the category by 47 points in the most recent 13-week period (Nielsen Total U.S. Food + Liquor $ sales ending 7/12/25). Seven Daughters has delivered double-digit growth across every period and metric, and today is the #1 selling Moscato in the US in on-premise establishments, according to Somm.ai, the world’s largest database of wine and spirit lists.
The debut of the Red Blend is anticipated to build on that success as it joins the thriving red blend category, which commands 37% share in the $10-20 Italian wine market (Nielsen Total AOC + Liquor), ultimately accelerating the brand’s growth and generating renewed excitement among Seven Daughters consumers and Henson’s devoted fanbase alike.
“We’re excited and encouraged by the rapid accelerated growth of our Seven Daughters brand,” says Bill Terlato, President and CEO of Terlato Wine Group. “Our collaboration with Taraji has brought fresh vision and energy, and the results speak for themselves. The launch of the Red Blend is a natural next step, one that reflects our commitment to innovation, quality, and meeting our consumers’ preferences.”
“The response to our Seven Daughters Moscato has been absolutely incredible, so building on that momentum, it felt only right to explore another one of my favorite categories—red blends,” says Taraji P. Henson, strategic advisor and creative collaborator of Seven Daughters Wines. “I’m a true red wine lover, and this Red Blend reflects everything I look for in a wine: bold, full of heart, and made to stand out. I’m so excited to see what people think and to continue providing them with quality wines that bring people together. Whether you’re celebrating the big moments or just enjoying a Tuesday night with your girls, Seven Daughters is about fostering community, creating those special connections, and never settling for ordinary. This red blend is perfect for year-round celebrations—served chilled, of course—because we deserve to celebrate it all.”
Seven Daughters Red Blend (SRP: $14.99) is crafted from a blend of Marzemino, Corvina, and Merlot sourced from family vineyards in the Veneto region of northern Italy. Slightly effervescent, the wine has vibrant, fruity aromas of wild berries and notes of warm spices that add complexity to its bouquet, with a robust, rich texture on the palate. It is best served chilled and perfect to enjoy all year long.
Seven Daughters and Henson aim to foster genuine connections with consumers through events, social content, influencer collaborations, and in-store activations. Since the November 2024 relaunch, Henson and the Seven Daughters team have hosted meet-and-greets throughout Florida, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, L.A., Washington, D.C., and beyond. Henson recently headlined the July 2025 Wine & Culture Fest in D.C., a festival curated in collaboration with The Hue Society to promote inclusion within the wine industry. With the launch of the Red Blend, Seven Daughters and Henson will continue to identify markets where they can engage directly with fans, bringing people together through a shared love of wine, celebration, and community. Fans can expect to see more thoughtful line extensions in the years ahead.
