Live Auction Lots Revealed for 2025 Charitable Sonoma County Wine Celebration

Bid in Person or by Proxy on Wine Collections, Bucket List Trips and All-Inclusive Experiences

August 28, 2025 (Santa Rosa, CA)Sonoma County Vintners Foundation (SCVF) is pleased to announce this year’s live auction lots for the charitable Sonoma County Wine Celebration (SCWC). The three days of county-wide events take place September 18-20, with the live auction occurring on Saturday, September 20 on the beautiful grounds of Cline Family Cellars. Proxy bidding is available for anyone to bid from anywhere in the world. Event proceeds will benefit Sonoma County nonprofits. A selection of 22 live auction lots ranging from curated rare wine collections and once-in-a-lifetime trips to all-inclusive wine and culinary experiences and more will be featured on auction day. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on an array of silent auction lots during the pre- and post-auction reception.

Four couples will enjoy everything Lot 2: Carneros VIP Wine Adventure has to offer in beautiful Carneros! The journey begins with a two-night stay at the private Cline Family Cellars Estate Guest House, complete with a vineyard tour and exclusive hilltop tasting with Winemaker Tom Gendall, followed by a gourmet lunch from El Molino Central, a Bib Gourmand recipient. Test your swing as you drive golf balls from the top of Hat Strap Hill, then indulge in a private wine tasting at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, and an educational olive oil immersion at The Olive Press. You will take home a 3-liter bottle of Olive Press award-winning extra virgin olive oil for your kitchen as well as a mixed case of Cline Sonoma wines to share with friends and family.

Don’t miss Buy-In Lot 9: Silver Oak: Past & Present! This exclusive event will host up to 10 couples for an exclusive tasting and wine-paired dinner with hand selections from the family’s personal cellar, hosted by members of the Duncan Family and Silver Oak’s Director of Winemaking, Laura Oskwarek.

There is a very exciting lineup of lots focused on travel and curated experiences such as Lot 5: Let the Good Times Roll, from NOLA to Dry Creek Valley. This amazing lot features a weekend package for two couples to Carnivale du Vin in New Orleans, with a fabulous stay at the Four Seasons, followed by a stay at Flambeaux Wines in Dry Creek Valley, a uniquely themed T.O.W.N. Dinner in Healdsburg, and a Bold Dreams tour and picnic lunch, with two magnums of wine to take home from Dry Creek Vineyard.

Lot 10: Jimmy V Week with Arista Winery & Mauritson Wines includes a VIP Wine Dinner in the heart of Manhattan to kick off a four-night stay in New York City for ESPN’s Jimmy V Week. Step onto the legendary Madison Square Garden court with two spots at an exclusive on-court shoot-around — a rare chance to walk the same hardwood as the greatest players in basketball history. Following this, you’ll receive VIP invitations to an exclusive pre-game reception, leading up to prime seats at the Jimmy V Classic Men’s Double Header, where you’ll witness top college teams battle it out under the bright lights of The Garden.

Lot 12: World Class Water & Wine Experience will allow four guests to explore the great outdoors with a half-day guided fly-fishing adventure on the famed Fryingpan and Roaring Fork Rivers with a two-night stay at a vacation residence in Aspen. The winning bidder will take home three magnums of Mascarin Family Wines signed by Winemaker Matt Taylor.

As in years past, the proceeds from the Sonoma County Wine Celebration (SCWC) Fund-A-Need Paddle Raise will continue to provide impactful assistance for children’s education and literacy while also addressing new challenges our county faces. A key focus of this year’s proceeds will be supporting the critically impactful K-3 Proficiency Project (K-3PP), which has seen tremendous results in increasing literacy in Sonoma County school children.

About K-3 Proficiency Project
A staggering 59% of third-grade students are not reading proficiently in Sonoma County. Becoming a proficient reader by the end of third grade is critical as it marks the transition from learning-to-read, to reading-to-learn. K-3 Innovation, a local non-profit organization, started the K-3 Proficiency Project (K-3PP) with the mission of helping get every student reading proficiently by the end of third grade. K-3PP partners with Sonoma County schools to support teachers in kindergarten to third grade (K-3) classrooms. Students use adaptive online reading programs, while trained assistants help teachers provide small group targeted instruction based on student performance data.
