Yountville, April 2025 — The Coop has just opened at 6554 Yount Street in Yountville. It is a collaborative project from Hoopes Vineyard and the town of Yountville and The Yountville Farmstand. Although The Coop is open now, there will be a ribbon cutting and grand opening on June 21, with a tour of The Farmstand produce tended by renowned local green thumb Peter Jacobsen.

Open Tuesday-Thursday 10:00-5:00 and 9:00-6:00 Friday-Sunday, The Coop offers a casual menu of pastries, coffee, wine, soups, sandwiches, and weekly specials made with ingredients from Hoopes Vineyard’s The Oasis and other local farmstand gardens. Available to purchase to take home are fresh produce, eggs, preserves, and other locally made goods. Residents of Yountville enjoy 50% off produce and eggs and 20% off all coffee and hot food.
“It’s so nice to have something for the locals. We’re all so tired of only having $100 options,” said Yountville resident Marianne Lyon.

“We are so happy to open up The Coop here in Yountville,” says Lindsay Hoopes, Proprietor, Hoopes Vineyard. “Our goal was to bring local produce, local vendors, and local people together. We really wanted to make a spot that all are welcome to have a high quality snack and sip without the Up Valley sticker shock. It’s so great to see our neighbors all come out and support us by trying the food, having some coffee, and leaving with some fresh organic produce. We’ve gotten to have some great chats with the Yountville locals as well,” she added.
“We wanted to provide a local benefit in the form of a farm to fork local hangout to reinforce the community feel of Yountville,” added Evan Roscoe, Manager, The Coop.
Upcoming will be kids’ activities, rotating guest chefs and concession stand specialties for families to enjoy during Little League games at the adjacent field.
