Gruppo Mezzacorona Named “Best Italian Producer” at 2025 Mundus Vini Spring Tasting

March 25, 2025 (Trento, Italy) — Gruppo Mezzacorona has been awarded “Best Italian Producer” at the prestigious Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2025 in Neustadt, Germany. 

The award-winning Group, which includes Mezzacorona, Rotari and Castel Firmian wineries from Trentino, along with Feudo Arancio and Stemmari from Sicily, celebrated outstanding success with 13 gold medals, including four ‘Best of Show,’ and 23 silver medals. A true testament to their unwavering dedication to quality.

Mundus Vini is one of the world’s most esteemed international wine competitions, organized by Meininger Verlag and held biannually. This year, more than 12,000 wines from 36 countries were evaluated by a panel of oenologists, winemakers, sommeliers, and industry journalists. The competition concluded in late February, with Gruppo Mezzacorona emerging as one of the most awarded producers. 

The prestigious award was officially presented on March 16 at ProWein 2025 in Düsseldorf, one of the world’s premier international wine fairs. This recognition highlights Gruppo Mezzacorona’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability in winemaking, with a focus on reducing its ecological footprint, incorporating sustainable farming practices, and enhancing the quality of its terroir.
