SONOMA, CA (February 7, 2025) —Carolyn Mulas DuBose has been announced as the new Director of Sales & Brand Development for Water Into Wine, Inc. representing Sonoma Collection, La Prenda Vineyards and Fifth Hill Wines.

Carolyn Mulas DuBose is a seasoned leader in the wine and spirits industry with over 30 years of sales management experience. Her career began in Sonoma Valley, representing another small family grower/ producer with Harry Parducci, the previous and longtime owner of Valley of the Moon winery in Glen Ellen, giving her the first taste of the industry. From there her skills impressed another local grower/ producer Joe Martin, previous owner of St Francis Winery in Kenwood who offered her to expand her sales into management. With the blessing to move her career forward, Harry directed Carolyn to learn as much as she could and broaden her skill set. After some time, expanding distribution of St Francis wines along with a local broker, she was recruited by her first distributor job covering northern California with Classic Wines of California. She subsequently joined the largest wine and spirit distributor in the U.S., Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits as a sales manager for most of her career.
Carolyn holds the WSET Level 3 certification from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust as well as Certified Specialist certifications for both Wine and Spirits from the Society of Wine Educators.
Born and raised in a Sonoma Valley farming family, Carolyn has expressed, “it’s an absolute privilege to come full circle and return to where my career journey started. I am thrilled to be working with such an incredible group of professionals for such a well-respected family-owned vineyard and winery. I am eager to contribute to La Prenda’s ongoing success and feel like I am finally back where I belong”

In 2021, the La Prenda Tasting Room opened just off the Sonoma Square. We are located at 535 1st Street West where visitors can enjoy a 5-wine tasting flight while learning about the wines and grape growing in Sonoma Valley. Flights range from $20-$35/person with the opportunity for customization.
