RedChirp and Tock Partner to Improve Reservation Communications

July 15, 2024 — RedChirp, the wine industry’s leading text messaging platform, and Tock, the leading all-in one solution for reservations and table management, proudly announce an enhanced integration between their two platforms. This strategic upgrade aims to streamline and elevate how wineries manage reservation communications, improving both customer experience and operational efficiency. 

The new, second-generation integration still allows wineries, and other hospitality businesses, to send automated reservation texts directly from the same platform they use for other SMS strategies. This consistency enhances the customer journey, whether the communication pertains to a visit, membership, purchase, promotion, shipment, or other interaction. 

Wineries can use this integration to enable various automated text messages through RedChirp to keep guests informed and engaged. These messages include confirmations of new reservations, updates, and cancellations, as well as reminders ranging from two hours to one month before the reservation. Follow-up messages can also be sent post-visit to gather feedback and ensure guest satisfaction. 

Automated messages for Tock reservations and events can be sent from any phone number within a RedChirp account, ensuring guests receive messages from familiar numbers, which improves deliverability and trust. RedChirp facilitates two-way communication, automatically notifying the appropriate team member(s) when guests reply, ensuring the conversation continues seamlessly within the same message thread. Centralizing text messaging within one platform makes it easier to automatically comply with opt-out requests. Additionally, wineries can personalize their messages with customizable templates, dynamically insert guest and reservation details, and include images or contact cards to reinforce their unique brand. 

Leveraging Tock’s robust API, the new integration improves reliability, syncs past reservation data, and updates reservation information more frequently. Tock contacts are now synced with RedChirp, automatically labeling incoming messages with guests’ names and making it easier to start new conversations. All Tock reservations are visible within RedChirp, with data syncs nightly to keep reservation information up-to-date. As always, each winery is responsible for gathering consent, outside of Tock’s platform, for ongoing email and text messaging communications. RedChirp has many additional and included tools to help grow and manage your brand’s opt-in list.

The integration supports multiple reservation types and locations, allowing wineries to tailor their automated messages accordingly. For example, provide different instructions for outdoor versus indoor tastings, send texts from different phone numbers for different locations, and provide specific directions for different  experiences. RedChirp’s bulk message filtering tools now make it easy to select consumers to message, like all customers who visited at the same time last year, and then automatically filter out recipients by location, consent status, and/or purchase history.
