The final day includes a “pitch your passion” session where students can present a snapshot of current wine projects and receive immediate feedback from experts in marketing, branding, packaging, distribution and sales.

Expand Your Wine Network

“What makes our program unique is not only our highly sought-after wine industry speakers but also the abundance of networking opportunities,” says Theresa Sanchez, program instructor and international marketing consultant at DiVine Selection. “Students may engage one-on-one with our speakers and instructors and build a strong network among their cohort via online and in-person socials. They spend a week in the program and build a network to last a career.”

Sanchez is joined by fellow instructors Christian Miller, proprietor of Full Glass Research, and Alison Crowe, director of winemaking at Plata Wine Partners, LLC. Together, they’ve invited some of the industry’s best to join this year’s Wine Marketing Program, including Ed Rice, director of brand strategy for Affinity Creative Group; Paul Wagner, president emeritus of Balzac Communications and Marketing; and Traci Dutton, sommelier at the Wine Spectator Greystone Restaurant. Check out some of our distinguished past speakers.

“This program was nothing short of phenomenal,” said Kim Hartleroad of Blue Cape Cellars. “One of the most important things I gained was the strength of my cohort. I walked away from this program with a network that rivals my MBA program,” added Perry Reyes of Korbel. Read more from our students or watch this video to hear from program instructors and alumni.
