Talley Vineyards Partners with The Gala Pride & Diversity Center to Celebrate Pride Month

(June 3, 2024; Arroyo Grande, CA) Talley Vineyards, a multi-generational family-owned winery deeply rooted in the San Luis Obispo Coast AVA, is pleased to announce the release of its 2023 PRIDE, a vibrant skin-contact white blend made in celebration of Pride Month and the collective necessity for acceptance, love and diversity. Deeply rooted in the community they’ve called home for four generations, Talley Vineyards is proud to partner with The Gala Pride & Diversity Center, an organization founded in 1997 which provides essential services, resources, and support to the LGBTQ+ community on California’s Central Coast. Profits from the wine and event ticket sales will benefit the organization and its ongoing efforts to make the world a better place.

“Pride Month is a wonderful opportunity to raise a glass to inclusivity and joy,” says Brian Talley, vintner and second-generation winegrower. “We are proud to support and partner with The Gala Pride & Diversity Center, a vital organization that is committed to creating a more inclusive and equitable world. We believe that celebrating and encouraging individuality is what makes our community so special.”

“We at The Gala Pride & Diversity Center are grateful for the support of Talley Vineyards and their team,” says executive director Dusty Colyer-Worth. “Further we honor their commitment to growth and valuing diversity and inclusion.”

The 2023 PRIDE is a testament to Talley Vineyards’ passion for experimental and progressive practices which push the boundaries of traditional winemaking. Estate grown and produced from Talley’s SIP certified sustainably farmed Oliver’s Vineyard in the San Luis Obispo Coast AVA, this distinct white blend of Chardonnay and Grüner Veltliner was fermented on skins with native yeasts, lending a compelling texture and complexity.

To commemorate this special release, Talley Vineyards will host “Tuesday Pride” on June 11, 2024, as part of its “Tuesdays with Talley” event series. Embodying the winery’s belief in acknowledging all of life’s moments, both big and small, this event celebrates the everyday occasions that bring people together over great food and wine. Guests will enjoy the first public tasting of the 2023 PRIDE, paired with dishes from San Luis Obispo’s TASTE! craft eatery. Held at the scenic Talley Vineyards Tasting Room at 5:00 pm, tickets are available for $30. To make a reservation, please visit: https://talleyvineyards.com/tuesdays-at-talley/

Additionally, Talley Vineyards is offering a special Presale Tuesday Pride Tasting Pack, including three bottles of the 2023 PRIDE wine and two tickets to the June 11 event. Priced at $170, the pack will be available for pick up or shipping on or after the wine’s official release date of June 1, 2024.
