Leading Regenerative Organic Certified® Winery Elevates LaNasa to Oversee On-Premise Chains, Enhancing Sales Strategy and Operations

Tammy LaNasa

HOPLAND, Calif., (April 18, 2024) Bonterra Organic Estates, the largest Regenerative Organic Certified® winery in the United States, has announced the promotion of Tammy LaNasa to the position of Senior Director of national On-Premise National Accounts. LaNasa will oversee on-premise chains for the company’s commercial division Viña Concha y Toro USA, overseeing all sales operations and strategies for this program.

Having joined Bonterra Organic Estates, formerly known as Fetzer Vineyards, in 2012, LaNasa has played a pivotal role in driving significant growth within the company’s programs. Her contributions have led to notable achievements, including growing the company’s on-premise chain business by 53% and increasing placements of its principal California brand, Bonterra, by nearly 120%.

“Our on-premise program has flourished under Tammy’s guidance, and we anticipate continued momentum under her capable leadership,” said Allison Wetsel, President of Sales and Wholesale Operations at Bonterra Organic Estates. “Tammy embodies our values and commitment to being a leading regenerative and socially conscious company, and this promotion is a well-deserved recognition of her dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to being a leader in the on-premise.”

LaNasa brings a wealth of experience to her new role, with a proven track record in brand building across various sectors of the wine industry. Prior to joining Bonterra Organic Estates, she served as beverage director of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group where she managed an award-winning 100+MM beverage program for three upscale steakhouse concepts.  Before that, she worked for what is now Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) for 16 years.  During her tenure at RNDC, she worked first in New Orleans as an on-premise sales representative and then was promoted to a key account manager.  Then, in Texas, she became a hotel specialist before being promoted again to an on-premise national account manager.

“I’m honored and proud to work for a company that is made up of good people working hard to do the right thing every single day,” said LaNasa. “This includes putting people and planet before all business practices in a world that tends to focus on business first.”

Bonterra Organic Estates is the United States’ largest Regenerative Organic Certified winery and has pioneered organic winemaking since its first organic vineyards were planted in the late 1980s. In addition to its robust responsible business commitments, Bonterra Organic Estates imports the portfolio of its holding company, Viña Concha y Toro, and is the largest importer of South American wines in the United States.
