Vanessa Robledo’s Vintner’s Diary Rosé to Be Featured at Bottlerock Napa Valley

Wine Company Owned by Three Generations of Latina Women Gets a Chance to Shine

NAPA, California (April 4, 2024)—Vanessa Robledo has secured a coveted spot for her Vintner’s Diary Rosé at this year’s BottleRock Napa Valley festival being held May 24-26, in Downtown Napa. Hers will be one of just 18 stellar wineries featured at the biggest music festival held north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Robledo and Vintner’s Diary Rosé will also be featured at the inaugural Festival La Onda to be held the following weekend, June 1-2, where her wine is in even more select company, being one of just eight featured wineries at what is billed as the “largest Latin festival in Northern California.”

Robledo said, “It’s a tremendous honor and opportunity to have our wines showcased at BottleRock Napa Valley and the first ever Festival La Onda. It presents us with the opportunity to reach a broad audience and inform that audience of our unique position in the wine business.”

Vanessa Robledo is a trailblazing Latina wine pioneer. Vanessa’s Vintner’s Diary represents three generations of Latina women, each one making unique cultural and personal contributions to the business. Her mother, Maria de la Luz, owns vineyards and lends her talents as a renowned chef creating Mexican influenced dishes perfectly paired to their wines. Vanessa’s passion has always been wine, from the age of 19 when she was named President of her family’s Robledo Family Winery. She chose to focus on the contribution of Mexican Americans to the California wine industry, while inviting Latinos and others new to wine to learn about it in an easy to understand manner. Vanessa’s daughter, Jocelyn Solis, is a talented media artist and film maker producing several videos displayed on the Vintner’s Diary web site and continuing her mother’s mission to make learning about wine fun and easy.

The three women have coalesced their talents to start the Vintner’s Diary. Their first wine is a 2022 Rosé of Grenache and has been selected as a featured wine at both BottleRock and Festival La Onda. Because Vanessa Robledo is at the helm, Vintner’s Diary is not just a wine brand. It is also an educational tool. “Wine intimidation is common,” says Vanessa, “we make it simple.” Vanessa also speaks for all three generations when she says, “This is not our hobby, it is our life’s work.”
