Women for WineSense Presents “LEARN Today and LEAD Tomorrow,” Wednesday, February 7, 2024 

NAPA / SONOMA, CALIFORNIA |February 6, 2024:  On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. PT, the Napa | Sonoma chapter of Women For WineSense’s (WWS) Winemaking & Viticulture Roundtable will host “LEARN Today and LEAD Tomorrow.”  The Roundtable guest speaker is business strategy expert and author, Toni Navy.  She will share her ideas on future-focused leadership and describe new ways to evolve, contribute and continue to be highly relevant leaders within organizations.  The Roundtable will be held at Healdsburg’s acclaimed Lambert Bridge Winery with an additional Zoom livestream.   The event will be hosted by long time WWS Program Committee member and Vice President, Winemaker and General Manager, Jennifer Higgins.  Lambert Bridge is located at 4085 West Dry Creek Road, Healdsburg, CA 95448.

ABOUT THE EVENT:  

Early arrivals will meet at 3:00 p.m. to enjoy mingling and catching up with peers and our speaker while sampling an assortment of artisanal limited production wines, followed by a 3:30 pm behind the scenes production tour.

At 4:00 p.m., the program and Zoom livestream will begin.  A lively question and answer session will follow the presentation.  Ms. Navy noted she will share specific expertise about “core practices to communicate smart strategic plans, mobilize people to take action and take part in finding new ways to operate and move yourself and your business forward.”  Discussion topics will be tailored for wine related industry general managers, senior level leaders, and front line team managers looking for the latest insights and leadership practices.

Ms. Higgins remarked, “It’s a fantastic way to learn what’s new and working well from an esteemed expert beyond the wine industry, plus get that fresh thinking in a candid discussion with our supportive Roundtable peers.”

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Toni Navy is a business strategy expert, speaker and #1 best selling author. She runs a high-impact training and consulting company where she helps small business leaders hire, lead and build a successful business.  With over 20 years of experience in roles such as VP of Operations, Director of HR, Management and Consultant opportunities; she has worked at large companies like HP, Apple Computer, Kaiser and HGST, as well as small companies like Cashedge and Chapman Properties.

This event is open in person to active WWS members and qualified non-members that are confirmed through the Roundtable Chair.  Please pre-register by 8 pm., February 6, 2024 at this link.   Professional WWS Roundtable members and their qualified guests are welcome to attend including winemakers, viticulturists, GMs, winery and vineyard owners, other production professionals or organizational leaders.

Both onsite and virtual registered attendees will receive a private livestream link.  Attendees are asked to bring a bottle or two of wine to share as a thank you to our hosts and speaker.
